Detoxing from sugar isn't exactly the easier thing to do, the hardest part is the cravings! But if you plan ahead and make simple and tasty meals, it should be no issue! (beside the detox symptoms haha)

As long as your microwave isn't open, heating your food up there won't lead to cancer. I still prefer heating soup on the stove top too though. Your food looked great!

Don't mean to comment twice, but you should try "lupini beans" if you're reducing carbs/ sugar. It's the only low carb bean to my knowledge and it's so good in a hearty chili!

the sugar cravings struggle is real. i accidentally ended up limiting my sugar intake like crazy when i realized i should quit snacking to avoid my allergens. i ended up eating tiny rock sugars like candy to sate the cravings while slowly weaning myself off sugar. the cravings stopped after a few days but occasionally comes back if i got my allergy triggered bcs it messes with blood sugar levels.

@@thegreenmother9 some! others may have different symptoms, idk, but what i noticed is i get lethargic and sleepy, and i really want to eat or drink something sweet. but when i eat the food, i don't taste the sugar so i just end up adding more. i once drank tea with like 3tbs sugar and i still wanted more, and my friend stopped me because to her it already tasted like a sugar bomb. but the excess sugar later would just cause extreme insulin spike and i would crash again, so the cycle would repeat. when i feel fine and healthy, just 1tsp sugar is enough for a cup of tea *if* i even want it sweet at all.

Please consider a Ketogenic lifestyle. It will give some focus to your reduced carb efforts....and solid health benefits .

As a person who did keto for 1 year strictly keto like even counting the trade carbs in each egg aka .5 carbs i can tell you never go keto unless you actually enjoy it. I liked it but I hated that even veggies like Brussel sprouts are typically 1 net carb each but very low calories. I lost 120lbs in 1 year of keto and it really helped me out as a stepping stone but never a lifestyle for sure Most people doing "keto" are actually just low carb since they dont even track anything on a foodscale and a calorie counting app like Cronometer of MyFitnessPal or even use the dedicated Keto apps like Carb Manager

Look at all these commmentsss. I'm such a sweet tooth too :(( recently I've been lowering my intake and focusing on honey or dates but eventually I am going to do a sugar detox. Do you know how to do a parasite detox??

Wow I’m just now seeing this! And I know to definitely avoid processed foods and refined sugars! There are a few herbs that you can take to help, I believe mugwort is a good one. I’d look up parasite herbal tea blends
