Thank yo so much for your wonderful comments, as I will read them all. My passion is to help others live an abundant, and fulfilled life, no matter what mistakes they have made in the past, nor the circumstances for which they were born. We have all made mistakes, but we can learn from them, improve, and move on. Anything that I can do, or support I can offer to you, I will. Please like, share and subscribe, as my desire is to let as many people as possible know that they are not alone in their struggle, and it does get better. Most are isolated, and embarrassed by their circumstances, so I put myself out here to say that your tears are just temporary, and we can support each other while experiencing this thing called life.

Wow! Thank you for sharing. I can relate to a lot of that. One thing I learned from my parents was “you can be whatever you want to be.” I am truly grateful that they encouraged us to believe that you could be whatever you want to be. You are a strong and compassionate woman. Again, thank you for sharing this!

I love when I come across a person who is a "minister" without the trappings of religion. Not saying you don't have beliefs, because I don't know that about you, but you have a spirit that ministers...is what I'm saying. Keep up the good work!

☺ I needed this tonight. Some people try to make you feel so guilty for making it out and they don't even know what you made it out of. They only know that you made it further than them. I needed this reminder that privilege didn't get handed to me, I worked for it and I make the decision to work for it every additional day, with every choice. Thank you for sharing so people like me can relate. 💙Much love, peace and joy to you and yours

Bless God for paid days off...concerning your entrepreneurial experience to whom much is given much is required. I share with my daughter managing our home was our first business and managing our home based business is the second business. Teaching our children how to manage is the key to legacy. Many blessings ✊🏾❤️❤️❤️✊🏾

Hi, Val I was checking my notifications and hadn’t seen you. I know you and Ron are working so hard. As for your story, I can completely relate. I come from a family of seven siblings. I can honestly say I’m very different from my siblings. They say the middle child is always different. I’m different in that I choose not to have drama and negativity in my life. I, too, love my family from a distance. There’s seven of us, but I’m individually set apart from them. Whenever I try to interact with my family, I’m at a loss. My life is always better without them in it. I hope everything works out with your family member. Take care.

Val: Thank you! God woke me up early this morning 3:45AM(est)-so that I could listen to you before the start of my busy Sunday. What you said in this video is a confirmation to what God has been speaking to me, concerning my past negative childhood experiences and toxic dysfunctional family members, as well as how important it is to separate my self from all toxic “friends.” Currently, I am in the process of “Forgetting those things Behind and pressing Forward To The High Calling” so that I can receive the good things that Father God has for My Life ! You are a bright light on the internet. Again, thank you for your transparency, authenticity and words of inspiration! I’m wishing you and Ron, Father God’s best in all your endeavors!

So glad you're back! You are speaking my truth as well. As the middle child of eight and shaving a mother that found mothering difficult, I thankfully had grandparents that helped me though a childhood that could have gone terribly wrong. By God's grace my life turned out positive, because I walked a totally different path than my siblings. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life's journey. It's so wonderful to see and hear from other strong women putting one foot in front of the other and just keep moving forward. As always, thanks for sharing. May God continue to bless you and your family. ❤

Hi Val. Thank you for sharing. Some people call it over sharing but I think it’s very courageous to tell your story. This is inspiring and much needed. I just had a serious incident in my family as well. I know I need to step away but it’s very difficult. Some families are just too toxic to move forward in a healthy way. Yesterday really showed me that I need to love from a distance. Your video is confirmation as I was awakened out of my sleep thinking about all of the foolishness that took place. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Val i feel you! I thank God everyday for a praying mother! Even having a parent rooted in Jesus didnt mean the devil wouldn't attack time after time to destroy the family.Much prayers and tears and faith in the lord bought us through. I said this there is someone in this world that life mirrors yours where outcome are different. You hang in there and time that devil he's a liar and trusted in the lord.

I am very much like you. I'm more spiritual. I praying for you. I had to let go of bad people in my life. I had too. They tried to keep me down all the time. They have more than me and down want me to rise above. I have been there for them and I am a giver also. But God had to clean my space from wicked friends and family. Be excited and happy. We are blessed, Amen!

Hi Val. Thank you for sharing your testimony and journey! Our stories are similar. I too come from a family of 9 siblings with my mom being a single mom because Dad was out there. Two of my siblings died due to their lifestyle choices. All you can do is pray for them. You are such a wonderful encourager! You're so right. Its all about our choices. All the best to you and Ron on opening your restaurant. I hope to visit your restaurant one day. Keep the faith. It ain't over. God is on your side. It will happen!

Interesting life. But most people have ups and down in life s journey. Aren't we glad not immigrants from other countries? Afghan Haiti and Mexicans have it rough in their home country with their desire to come here. We have freedoms with most choices in America (some are limited in areas due to skin tone )but our life standards are better than others around the world. You and hubby have self leadership and blessed much more than others. Your empathy and words are wise. Thank for helping others and myself.. I think I had a weird adult life journey with marriages and adult children. It seems I am usually ignored. I leave those alone who don t like me cause had differ childhood than them. I am boring conservative type of person who was bullied as a child and now as an adult . But I suck it up by IGNORING them. Why? Because I think they have bigger problems than I do and it is a waste of my energy. Take Care and glad to see you back
