It’s because it’s a civil defamation case, not a criminal assault case. Depp has sued Heard for defaming his name and character in a newspaper article several years ago when she claimed she was a victim of DV. All this evidence is his legal team presenting how things really were. Later on, we will get Heard’s lawyers presenting their witnesses, they will try and show that Depp was violent and therefore that what she said was true, therefore there was no defamation. Thus far, she’s not looking real good imo.

Johnny Depp has my utmost respect. Not only is he showing the world the good, bad, and the ugly, but he is actively reliving his trauma in this court case. Just look at his face vs Heard's face every time the audio plays. Some people aren't strong enough to relive their trauma alone in a therapist's office. Johnny Depp is doing it in front of the world.

when he said "don't tell me what it feels like to be punched" he had an abusive up bringing, it hit way too close to home for me personally. this is the most sincere man i have ever seen. even when amber heard is screaming, punching, insulting, emasculating; he still keeps his calm and using logic. she WANTED him to hit her so she could justify all this and play the victim. this is the first time i am hearing a lot of these recordings, and i am bloody DISGUSTED by her behavior and lies. glad her career and life is over, but i feel like a hunger game or "the most dangerous game" scenario would be more fitting. 😬

*This massive discrepancy exists even though there is no gender bias in the law favouring females. Whether you like it or not, the welfare system forces you as a man to pay for single women, many of whom, as you know, are degenerates.* Without welfare and all kinds of affirmative action promoting women in the workplace, women can't support themselves. The feminist welfare state just distributes the burden of taking care of women to all working men. So you, as a man, have the burden of financially supporting these women without any benefit in return, women who will berate you and call you an incel if you disagree with how stunning and brave they are. Western liberalism forces you as a man to fund the lifestyle of women drinking, sleeping around with a new man every night, popping anti-depressants like candy, and going to the women's march on weekends to whine about how oppressed they are. You're subsidizing all that. Women being free is not free. Someone has to foot the bill. *Islam says, no. No one gets a free ride. If you want to be taken care of, you have to be in a marriage as an obedient wife. And if you don't want to be an obedient wife, go be a burden on your father, who didn't raise you right. And if you don't want to live under your father's roof, go live in the wilderness or beg on the streets. See how long you last there*

Yep. I'm getting strong vibes that she decided she was going to get herself that man and engineered and manipulated her way toward that goal. I'm deeply suspicious of what was described in an earlier bit of testimony where JD outlined how they got together - her turning up in his trailer when hardly anyone else was around, and just so happening to share his love of "obscure blues music" ... the music that he would play in his trailer. Would be interesting to examine records of her internet searches from around that time; I'm willing to bet they would include copious amounts of "research" on the music he liked, because that was her way into his affection. She was an actress researching for a role, basically, except it's real life and the role she wanted was "Mrs Johnny Depp." Trouble is, with a person like that, the scheming and manipulating is what they're all about, and as soon as they've GOT what they thought they wanted, the game isn't fun anymore - so the pretence gets dropped and their true colors show.

1) Why would a habitual physical abuser say to his victim, “Don’t tell me what it feels like to be punched!”? 2) Why would an apparently assertive and confident Heard not respond with, “Of course I know what it feels like, Johnny, you punch me all the time!” Make it. Make. Sense.
