I keep saying it, I just don’t know how you can do such long rides. Unbelievable effort. Leaving the climbs to last as well, I’d be in bits. Fair play Katie.

Great riding. You, Greg and Rich are all machines. The way in which your mood changed also made me smile. I must agree that I am a climb pro convert. At one time I didn’t really appreciate it, and would rather not know which climbs were approaching and their length/elevation but now I have it on all the time. I find it just gives me a greater insight, and linked to power allows me to pace my efforts or go all out. Loving these videos, although wishing I was in GC rather than rainy Manchester.

Hi miss Katie.. I am from Ontario Canada. I stumbled upon your channel a few months, or so, ago, and have been enjoying watching your adventures. I got out on my new Scott Speedster 20 today for the first time this year. It was -1C, but I was dressed for it. I wasn't hot, but I wasn't cold either.. I was cool and comfortable.

I couldn't have asked for a better, more galvanising Easter treat! 🐣 You and the guys delivered with ease! At least I now know I'm not the only one swinging round every island I happen to set foot onto. Grateful to have witnessed a fulfilling day out in GC from dusk till dawn; never did I take these for granted! 😊🙂 🌼 👋👋 =]

Great ride and video - I think the climb from San Nicolas in the heat has to be one of the hardest things I've done on a bike, even though its is fairly short - as a pasty-white celt, it probably should be done in cooler temps - well done - keep up the great content

I love/hate climbpro, on those days when you're struggling up a red sector and a black comes up above😖, but generally it's great. Hadn't realised you can preview all the climbs on a route, must check that out. Can't fault the Rally pedals either (except price), if you're a data junkie, the level of info from a double sided set is superb

Katie, I see you have fairly narrow tyres (25mm?) - you haven’t been enticed by the recent fashion for using wide tyres? I suppose it’s related to you favouring rim brakes rather than disc?

Was there a reason to ride around the island counter clockwise? I've planned a similar route to ride one day but clockwise. There seems to be some parts on the motorway and one way roads which force slight detours that could be avoided, but then you get additional elevation. But no matter which way round, you'll win some and loose some of these "obstacles"...

When you do such long hilly rides, how often do you stop for food? Also what do you fuel up on ?
@KatieKookaburra9 ай бұрын
Dates. And depending how hilly / hot stop for a top up every few hours. Or before we go through an area we know we can’t get food / drink :)

You mean you didn't like the ride "before" doing it (because your recovery from the big climb was not total maybe) ? I ask so, because you look so happy and joyous in doing it and after, as if you take energy from the challenges you face, which is great

I suspect that you have answered this question before, but why, as someone from the UK, do you use metric units rather than Imperial? I can maybe understand when you are riding in Europe but surely in UK you are constantly having to mentally convert distances on road signs. I know I'm from the pre metric generation so don't shout at me😂.

I have loved your channel over the years, and we met once half way up Hardnott Pass, but maybe you might want to think about how much advertising you do ratio wise with your vids? I understand your commitments but more content, less advertising might be a mantra for the future? Maybe you need to go to places you've not been before? I really do not want to criticise as you are such an inspirational person, but I feel you are tired of the whole KZbin thing. Suggestion... Set yourself different goals and film them... the love will return!!!!!! Still an amazing channel xxx
