Max A/C- Basically recirculates and makes it colder and maybe a little harder. Norm A/C- Does not recirculate, just normal outside air and isn’t quite as cold or hard. Vent: Blows air without Air Conditioning Compressor on. Floor: Obviously just blows on the floor; does not use A/C compressor or recirculate. (It’s not very good lol). Mix: It just mixes the floor and defrost. I guess that’s why they only put it between the two. I’m not quite sure if it uses the compressor or not. It does sound like it kicks on actually, now that I think about it. It barely blows out the regular vent either. Defrost: Obvious. Again, I think it does use the compressor since it idles a bit higher and sounds like it kicks on as if you had A/C compressor on. If I remember right. I’ve only been using A/C lately cause it’s summer hahaha. I’ll get back to you in a few months when I need the defroster again.

Thanks for the tips! I actually bought a 2011 CVPI after I made this video, I can confirm Mix uses the AC, but I didn't realize Max AC recirculates! That will come in handy when driving through Coalinga

The Crown Vic is without a doubt the best American car ever to leave us. I have a 2005 CVPI and the differences are there too. Moldings for the interior are a bit different to clip back on, the air box is different, in fact its a bit larger. The wheels go from 16 inch to 17 inches so you go from 225/60r16 to 235/55r17, low profile. Suspension is MUCH STIFFER on 2006 to 2011 Vics. My friend has a 2008 CVPI and the suspension is rock solid with barely any give. Mines have give to it so you feel it dip going over speed bumps. As he told me, it rides like a Cadillac lol. The cluster is completely different as well. Mine is still incandescent while yours are LEDs. In the center is your speedometer and no tachometer. Ford leaves out the battery voltage and oil pressure off the cluster and the digital miles are rollover miles on mine.

The turning radius is a lot tighter than a normal vic. On the highway these things are a champ. Love my 98 vic

The stab proof plates are plastic sheets that are removable, provided the vic has front seats that can unzip.

I own a white 2001 Ford CVPI, very nice driving automobile, the only few things I've done to it was a transmission, driver side front door..the transmission came out of a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and the driver side front door came off a 1999 Crown Victoria LX, so I went on eBay and bought me some door pillar trim for the door pillars because with it being a white car like you said the paint wasn't very good on these cars and the driver side front door I bought for it had a factory black door pillar being that it came off of a civilian ford crown victoria, on eBay they had three different finishes on the door pillar trim, carbon fiber, Chrome and black trim, I bought the black door pillar trim and it looks pretty good😊❤👍

Hi we had a crown vic my father bought in 2012 when I was 1 years old we had a vent in the rear and the seats were quite comfortable and we had a speedometer which max speed was 180 and there's was a seat in the middle maybe the owner tooled out these things because we bought from Ford company

I recently did on Aug 4th acquired an 05 with just over 75,000 on it, for great price,its been heavily & well maintained,, needless to say, my 15 Tahoe been sitting in same spot since that very evening, lol ,,, That thing just got its own Boss energy out on the road! Cars just automatically move outta its lane , & it's clean cutting lane changes are great in hectic traffic , no body roll or excessive countering feel , its got a self confidence in corners , (even if new passengers dont at 1st lol, welll,, they unspokenly just do by 2nd or 3rd turn lol ) just stays where ya put it!! ,,,,, Simply just a GREAT AUTOMOBILE !

I forgot to mention charger is absolutely garbage. I owned 2012 charger pursuits the looks of the car was perfect. It's not comfortable and the car have problems too often.
