Skynet sent a terminator to 1984 LA because what little info it had about Sarah placed her there. It can't send a terminator back to the 1800s because there's too much risk of destroying it's own future. It has to do a surgical strike, which is why the idea of sending a nuke back encased in flesh was always stupid. Part of the beauty of the terminator concept is that both sides can't afford to change things too much, so they each just send back one agent. Also in the third one they say the terminatrix is a liquid metal skin over a robotic endoskeleton. That lets it shapeshift, at least enough to appear as different people but also allows for integrated weaponry. Now a plot hole is why the t800s never have integrated weaponry despite us seeing their chasis used sans flesh as just combat machines.

when I was a small child (pre-k) I used to want to watch the second movie all the damn time for the Bad to the Bone song. not the scene, just the song. I had to watch the whole movie bc otherwise just that bit of the movie would have turned to snow (ah, vhs era). idk why they didn't just put the song itself on to mollify me. possibly bc that would have also ended up destroying the cassette. there was a similar rule for the B&W claymation King Kong. our VHS box had a roar button, so if I wanted to make it roar I had to watch the movie, so A) they didn't have to put up with me carrying the box around and making it roar all the damn time and B) killing the roar button.

Of course good people were on both sides. Even psychopathic mass murderers can be civil, polite, and charning. Makes luring victims in much easier, then looking and acting like The Night Slasher from Cobra. The role that Launched Brian Thompson to a career as sone of the best, one dimensional villains of the 80s and 90s. And one of the few actors to have been put down by both Arnold and Sly. Great vid bro. Loved it, as much as I do the subject franchise. Saw the first one at 10, early 86, on HBO, and have been a fan ever since. Even the sequels after T2, including that reboot attempt. Wasn't a bad movie, as a stand alone, it just suffers from a case of Mad Max 3, Syndrome. Or maybe call it Star Wars Syndrome. Ya know, Example A was spectacular, every letter after can never recapture the thing, the monent, and the audience, because it changed (insert chosen media) Forever! So. Not a bad movie, just a bad Franchise Movie. My Terminator Holy Trinity. T1, T2, Sarrah Connor Chronicals. Keep em coming, and thanks for the distraction on a phantom limb is keeping me up, night.

It seems to me that John Connor would have never been born had his father not traveled back in time to impregnate his mother... So if his father never traveled back in time in the first place John Connor would have never been born in order to oppose the robot army... It's not like John's parents were both from the same time period so if Kyle never traveled from the future in the first place how did any of this even occur? Anyone following me here?

It creates the image of a man without mercy or conscience, a man who at best sees the pain of others as an immaterial detail, and at worst a motivation that fuels his perverse actions. A man who's skills and experiences range so far into the distance of esoteric behavior as to be seen as totally alien, if not inimical, to human social interaction. A being who despite being of only flesh and blood, seems to exude an aura of despair to those unfortunate enough to meet him face to face. IRL a woman in France was attacked by a guy in a Wolf furry costume sometime in the medieval ages and told people she was attacked by a impossibly large wolf. The guy later confessed to multiple grizly murders and the attempt on her, presented the wolf skin he wore when he attacked her saying he turned into a wolf. Fun facts: the first furries are probably lost to time but: -Ancient Egypt as a whole is a strong contender in that most of their religion involves Anthropomorphic animal deities. -The cult of Romulus and Remus reportedly had ceremonies where they would dress up in wolf skins, claimed they could turn into wolves but unlike that french guy no murder. This was in honor of the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus who as the story goes were raised by wolves. This "cult" more of a formal religion since it existed for hundreds of years, is both very mysterious and yet publicly known and referenced in media. Like Harry Potter's Remus Lupin... his name basically means werewolf wolf.

I think the 3rd movie is better than most people remember and could have been a lot better. The little twists t like the Terminator being reprogrammed after killing John, sarahs grave gun cache, and the misdirect ending old me they were thinking about the movie. I think it was just too damn hard to top T2 and I appreciate naked lady robot as an attempt

There's nothing in the movie to justify this, but I've always chosen to believe that the T1000 was literally wearing a human skin bag, and as soon as he arrived he discarded it.
