Wait a second... YOU have been the one actually filming the people in your chubby emu videos!?!?!? I thought you were just pulling stock footage or something off of one of those stock footage subscription sites... I thought you were just doing the research and the voice-over and editing. I DID NOT REALIZE you were actually the guy filming 🎥. What CANT this man do!?!?

I think people should appreciate that using higher resolution content before it's mainstrain ages a lot better. There are lots of things people watch / consume that are decades old, and it's sad to see it in such low resolution (AI upscaling can only do so much). Thank you for all the work you put into the videos, and thank you for going the extra mile!

Im so intrigued by this channel. Its lovely seeing the BTS of your main channel because the footage looks really stunning. For someone who is into hobbyist film making this is perfect. Its also always interesting to see what goes behind such a video, including the 140GB upload 💀. I am privileged to be able to watch 8k without problems and appreciate you a lot for sometimes making the extra work to render and upload in such excessive sizes. Keep going with this, I love it!

It's a blessing to be able to learn from you while I make it. p.s, I had emailed the Chubbyemu email that was listed on your About Me in hopes to connect with you to see if you'd be willing to chat with my school about a medical topic but I figured you were busy! I graduate in May of 2023, so hopefully, there is still a chance 🙏🏼 Keep up the good work 🙏🏼

Normally I'd recommend you build a PC for editing because Mac's are so expensive for the performance you get but... well, maybe next year?
@BigEmus3 жыл бұрын
I mean even if you recommended it I wouldn't. because I still have a ProResRaw workflow that cant be rectified on PC atm. and my LTO workflow doesn't work there either

Pretty strange that a h264 render was taking too long. I've worked with 6k footage before on my i3 6098p and while it's not what I'd describe as fast, it still exports h264 in decent times. I just have 8Mbit upload speed so I cannot imagine trying to upload a file that big
@正清徐-l8i3 жыл бұрын
I remember KZbin supports H.265 codec as HDR videos need that and M1 max also has H265 codec engine moreover H265 is significantly smaller than prores so I think it worth a try. Secondly, if you make the video in rec 709 color gamut, the old rec 709 version can cause the color difference in different places. The solution is to change the preference setting to use Rec 709-a gamut and use rec 709-a in project setting. “A” meaning apple, and the gamut is developed by apple a few years ago to correct the color differences.
