Same and I was kinda expecting it but when he said before that it was 2 and 2 instead I thought the chances went down for that. Still kinda have to give some of them it to keep it as a comparison but would have been a high level double gaslight to not just them but the entire audience at the end.

I think the reason why they feel like they have more energy is because they are on video and showing their lifting abilities to others. It's probably a mix of adrenaline, social motivation and some other psychological factors. All those things combined are way more effective than taking a preworkout.

I mean if the main objective is caffeine, and you are looking to minimize cost per unit of caffeine maybe store brand caffeine pills? I had ChatGPT do a comparison: ### **Cost Comparison**: - **Caffeine pill**: **$0.07 - $0.10** per pill. - **Black coffee**: **$0.23 - $0.25** per cup. Therefore, caffeine pills are generally **cheaper per dose of caffeine** compared to a cup of black coffee. However, coffee offers additional benefits like flavor, antioxidants, and the ritual of brewing.

Pre workout definitely works. The issue here is that your testing its effects on guys who already have a caffeine tolerance. Pretty much your seeing if caffeine tolerant individuals can sense taking caffeine. Most preworkouts tell you to cycle off for a week or 2 to feel effects due to diminishing returns of tolerance levels.

Most regular gym goers are extremely caffeine tolerant and are the biggest purchasers of pre workout
@Rizzerio1
@Rizzerio1 2 ай бұрын
@@WillTennyson I am a purchaser of pre workout. On average, it's the cheapest source of caffeine outside of caffeine pills. Most pre workouts will cost you about $1-1.5 per scoop. Energy drinks $3-4 for the same or lesser value of caffeine. Coffee can be pricey, but on average your paying for about the same value per cup as you are per scoop of pre but for a lot less caffeine. I've tried caffeine pills but hardly could sense them working. Certain preworkouts get me amped up mentally and physically which is amazing value for the cost of each scoop comparatively to everything else outside of caffeine pills. I'd say preworkouts are the best bang for you buck, assuming you cycle off every once in a while.

Idk because sugar is also a powerful stimulant believe it or not. So what id want to see next would be a sugar free pre workout against a regular pre workout against sugar placebo, sugar free placebo. Sugar is also technically what gives you energy in coffee. The caffeine only works by blocking the adenosine receptors which is the chemical your brain sends to tell you your tired
