I used to show the Army Field Band Instrument Demonstration video when I taught general music to 1st and 2nd graders. Love this concept; it’s always exciting to see something a bit different on the channel. Hearing your friend talk about his fiancé was so sweet. If you plan to continues this series (which I hope you do), I think it would be interesting to see you and the “guest” collaboratively put together one outfit. You could discuss different options available and really tailor it to what the person needs. Seeing the four looks in this video was fun, but it was obvious he’d pick the casual outfit since that suited the vibe of their wedding.

Nice video! Tuxedo looks great! Second look is a no the turtle neck is too casual for a wedding (and I do love turtlenecks and I wear them with suits). 3rd option is great but the suit colour does not match with the shoes - would be much better with black shoes.

Great options and outfits, Brian. Also love how you have gotten more classic with longer overcoats as well. Big fan of less formal outfits for weddings. We know smokings are very common for weddings, but most people won't be needing a black tie outfit for future occasions. Buying an outfit, just to wear it once isn't a very good investment and not very sustainable.

Hie Brian. I have always wondered why you have so much discipline and level headed. Not only in your style but in other aspects too. I admire a lot of youtubers from tmf, alex costa, jeff style, ashley weston etc. Style wise id choose the others over you guys because you are purists. But overall i admire and have much love and respect for you and antonio centeno (real men real style) because your background from military and discipline really shows up naturally. The way I learned the formality scale was that “Formal” refers to morning dress before 6pm and white tie after. Semi-Formal is a stroller suit before 6pm and black tie or dinner jacket after. Informal or Cocktail is lounge suit all day. And casual is sport coat and odd trouser combination, again all day.

I like all the looks in theory. #1 is my favorite by far, followed by #2. There's something off for me about the last one. The weight of the jacket seems too light compared to the thickness of the vest. It also feels a bit too light in color. Look #3 would be prefect if only the button he's buttoning were just a bit lower. Seeing shirt, tie, and belt under the closed button makes me feel uneasy. I get it that these are OTR suits with minor tailoring, so you can't expert perfection. Great video as always!

As for the looks, TBH I think that a peak lapeled suit (or even a double-breasted one) with the exact same cloth and turtleneck as look #2 will be AMAZING. This combo sits on Scott so well. With that being said - no doubt that look #4 just fits perfectly. I really like that style! Not too unrelated: I think that makeover videos may fit you very well by the way. I like to have that one small detail that catches someone's eye. I have a question for you. I'm 66 (actually closer to 67). I have had a beard for the last several years. I used to shave it off or grow it on a whim. I an wondering if you feel that an older man would always look better with a beard. I feel that it hides the aging neck. I am at a point now that I am uncomfortable with the idea of shaving it off even though there are times that I would like to. It is gray and I like to keep it close cropped to my face. Sometimes I like to dye it. It doesn't change the color. Just tones down the gray a bit. Sorry for the long comment. I will stop now. Well for now...
