I immigrated to the USA legally. Most people here are not against immigration. The reason a strong border is important is because our system cannot handle this type of flooding. When the border is strong, people immigrant legally which guides and supports them to get housing, jobs, healthcare, retirement, etc. When its weak like under this administration, people become homeless, they turn to illegal work, and even crime. People look at republicans and say its racist to want a strong border, when the reason for a strong border is to prevent situations like this which make it incredibly difficult for the people.

My girlfirend (who lives in the Philippines and has a good job over there teaching pharmacy at the local university) was denied a tourist visa to come visit me here, but at the same time the president is letting people pour in through our wide open border. Now my girlfirend and I are going to try to get a K1 Visa so she can come here legally and we can get married. That'll take months, and lots of hard work, but then again you have this freaking people just waltzing into our country illegally with their hands out looking for freebies....make me freaking sick.

I was homeless out on these streets back in 2011-2014. I remember shuffling up and down 8th avenue between port authority and penn station. Back then, I thought it was bad. I personally moved out of new york in late 2014 to california. I have not been back to New York since and have zero desire to go back after seeing this. I was at the bottom at one point. I was fortunate enough to get the help I needed to see the light. By no means am I perfect...this is just too many people we are trying to help. Too many people that aren't OUR people...these people are someone else's problem. Our country has enough problems as it is...why is it that we are adding fuel to the fire that hasn't stopped burning since the crack epidemic. It's almost as if the US is trying to create problems that cannot be solved, provoking us until we get so fed up to the point where we take affirmative action so they can retaliate against their own people (us).

I've lived in New York my entire life... the other day my brother and I were walking back from school to our house in Flushing (Queens) and 3 guys came up in new jordans and new clothing and everything and tried to pester him to buy small bags of doritos for a dollar each... he's 13 years old! my grandfather and grandmother were both migrants from Cyprus in the 20's and they weren't just headed this free bs, and they're coming into our communities and pestering us to buy their garbage. Well it's to be expected. NY is a sanctuary state. It violates immigration laws by being one. Why should it surprise you that they would pay that amount and violate more laws in doing so. It is illegal under immigration laws to help anyone cross the border illegaly, transport illegals, house, employ, or give any state or federal funding except for emergency humanitarian aid. My father applied for a green card back in 2004 because his parents are american but he was born in Mexico, he and my family were approved in 2008 but we had to wait for availability... he passed away in 2022 and never received it, and since he is dead the process was cancelled, he always liked to do things the right way so he didn't wanted to go illegally. I have friends that crossed illegally in 2010 and are now legal citizens, these laws are bullshit.

My mom works at an organization that helps people in need. These people come in demanding a ton of crap and not wanting to work. My mom can’t stand them as an immigrant herself. She had this lady complaining about the food because they only kept on getting pork, and my mom got pissed off because when she got to the US she was lucky to get a meal once a day, and rarely got meat. A complete slap in the face! It took me almost 10 years (plus lots of money) to get my permanent residency in order to enter legally. Once I was there and working a decent job (promoted to manager). I was earning less than most illegals because 1/4 of my salary went to taxes. Americans don’t appreciate their own country so I decided not to invest any more of my time and money over there. I left after a year and now I’m happy as ever in my “3rd world country”. Guess I’m lucky that I’m from Costa Rica and don’t have the need to go over there and live in the crappy American system like other economic migrants do. Vancouver is a city in the state of British Columbia, Canada. Certain drugs are decriminalized and the maximum amount is 2.5 grams otherwise it's illegal to possess. It's also totally illegal to distribute. He dehumanizes them (literally, calling them zombies in the title and thumbnails). Sensationalizing everything like where he claimed to have "inhaled secondhand meth smoke" OUTDOORS which is literally just not possible unless he had it blown directly in his face. He used to make dumb prank videos and several other common and popular youtube trends. He may care about these issues, but that's not the reason he makes these "documentaries." This happened to Stockholm, Sweden back in 2015 and almost 10 years later the city has not recovered, in fact the problems just keeps getting worse. We've got violent crime wave after violent crime wave with explosions and shootings happening on a daily basis. The waiting period for a Swedish citizen to get a rental 1 room apartment in Stockholm is now 15 years and property prices in the few areas still ethnically Swedish have tripled. The health care system is on the verge of collapse as shootings are so common and imported diseases require care our system isn't used to handle. The only solution to the problem is to stop it before it reaches your city, NY seems like a lost cause, but perhaps there are still some cities still possible to save? 🙏

​@@AlexaSkyy-fk9wm and that was Sweden, it had a low crime rate with a higher standard of living than the US, a nation health system second to none, Swedish officials opened the borders up and took in more migrants than other European countries, sexual assaults were happening so often Sweden's cities got the name rape capitals of Europe, crime rates went up, the migrants did not assimilate with the Swedes, they all stayed together taking over entire areas of now no-go areas . This person is issuing a warning. New York can not home it's own people as it is so this is a disaster in the making.
