My absolute favorite song🖤The lyrics are more true now than ever, but not just LA, the entire world!! It is definitely time, and I can't wait!! Btw, seeing them do this live and watching Danny kill those drums is amazing!!

back when i was growing up in the 70's and 80's there was a lot of speculation that the L.A was gonna have the BIG ONE, referring to an Earthquake. They also believed that it would cause Cali. to break off into the ocean leaving you with Beachfront property in Arizona , So the reference to learning to swim is exactly that , LEARN TO SWIM and I will see you down at Arizona Bay. Maynard lives in Arizona

The AZ bay line is a reference to Bill Hicks who was a comedian around the time this came out that was good friends w/Maynard. They were actually in talks w/Bill Hicks to have him open for Tool. Imagine a comedian opening for a band like this. Unfortunately Bill had cancer and passed before it could happen. There are a lot of references to Bill's comedy on this album. This is definitely Maynard being mad at all the fake/trivial LA and seeing it for what it is. The band is from LA, and this was written during the period they were there. There are other songs w/similar references to scientology, and they actually played a scientology convention and I believe got kicked out. That video is out on YT as well. Whoever told you in live chat the founder was L Ron Hubbard was correct. This is great to see live. Also, you are 100% on Tick Tock. I don't put any social media on my phone (healthy professional paranoia), but Tick Tock has the most open terms of service. By that, I mean it gives them the most access to everything on your phone of any of the social media companies. I am glad the house overwhelmingly passed the ban on it, and hope the Senate does as well.

yeah this song is really good :) cool reactions! my cousin got me into this band about a year ago they are super good :) really deep stuff. the bottom is a really relatable song. havea good day everyone to those who aint EVIL not many real people left. like nobody needs to know if someone is gay or trans nobody needs to call someone something they FACTUALLY AINT everyone needs oxygen nobody needs that... the gov treats it like a need when they know its a want thats how fake they are never will they admit it... They want everyone to purposely fuel others delusions literally....

Not sure how you define it, but these lyrics sure aren't woke, and Bill Hicks sure wasn't woke either. lol EV even went over the lyrics. I am guessing this is a pre-reaction comment.

Just the current political buzzword being thrown around to further divide the people. Just like "critical race theory", "socialism", "fascism", and "communism". People who watch FOX News or MSNBC and think that's all they need to understand politics eat this shit up. It's like everyday they wake up and turn on the "news" to see what they should be offended about today.
