UH! I just finished filling up my newest Greenstalk, that I ordered about 2 weeks ago. Oh well, still worth the full price! Literally sitting here all sweaty while checking on you folks and getting a cool drink. Already in the 90s here in north Texas. Don't forget that you can mix the deeper tiers from the original Greenstalk with the shallower Leaf version. It makes these things even MORE versatile! I got a LOT of food from my first Greenstalk in one season. Really enough to make the Hubs and I quite happy. Now I've got "a few" and they save the space in my raised beds for things that get much too large for the vertical system. I grow almost all my greens and smaller root crops in Greenstalks. As well as most of my herbs. In my experience, annuals are generally excellent candidates for the Greenstalk. Exceptions of very tall or large vining things, but really a ton of food can come from even ONE Greenstalk. Plus pretty flowers. Best bang for your buck in a small footprint that I can think of.

Hi Jess and Miah! I’ve been wanting Greenstalk since last year. Thanks for the discount coupon. I ordered the Original & the Leaf planters today. The slugs had been attacking the strawberries and “salad leaves” this season so I finally decided to plant them up high for Fall. Your house looks beautiful! Have a great Fall season. Keep safe.

You should bring some of your mom's baby banana plants to start there, in your zone the winters will knock them back but plant them so North winds don't do so much damage. They still probably won't produce but there is nothing more gratifying than seeing and knowing they are from the same family as what your mom has. Mine come from my Pa's which are over 100 years old. Love them and knowing that these were once grown and taken care of by my Pa and Dad warms my heart. Plant them on the South side of barn for beat protection.

Thanks for sharing those thoughts. I know exactly what you described. My grandmother passed away when I was in my early 20's and quite busy with my new baby. It now brings me joy and sweet memories of her each time I walk past it.

Today was hard. As a Mom, and as a person with a pulse. You know the kind of day I mean. The kind where I'm in bed two hours earlier than usual because I just can't "today" anymore. My sticker grab bag got delivered today though, and made me smile. Thanks for that. :) Also, the printed card with Jess' quote "The best medicine for the garden is the gardener." I smiled when I hung it on my fridge, and a whisper stirred in my spirit, you know, the opposite is also true. I'm in bed already, but tomorrow, I will self medicate with some time in the garden. I'll touch the plants, smell the soil, perhaps even water some seedlings with a tear or two and I'll heal from today and the brokenness I'm feeling. And I'll pray and beg my Friend, the very Spirit of God for fresh mercies as the sun comes up, because I'm so in need. Anyone else in need of some soul medicine, I invite you, Get you to the Garden, and spend some time walking and talking with the Lord. I promise you it will help. 💜

It's not a competition, y'all, but Jess is playing to win! 🤣 Looks like we're gonna need a 'Garden League' for Fantasy Football this year! 🌱🏈🌱
