A lot of people can’t do a single pull-up because they have a weak core. Studies have repeatedly shown that the core, the biceps, and the lats are the prime movers of the pull-up (in that order). Kneeling lat pull downs better mimic the pull-up. They also incorporate the core unlike the seated lat pull down. You’ll also find that they are more difficult to perform so you’ll move less weight. Great video. You get a thumbs up from me and a new subscriber.

Practice makes perfect ! I am proud to say that I mastered the Pull-ups it took me a whole Year, but I have been knocking them out everyday . 3 sets of 10 military Pull-ups for the last 5 years !! It can happen if you put the hard work in ! 😁

Danielle, practice, practice, practice and it will happen! I wish I would have recorded my progress the very first day I would just jump and hold , fast forward a year I am knocking out 3 sets of 10 military style pull-ups! There are training bands and weighted pull up machines , the key is to use the negative weight, then in no time no weights or bands. 💪✌

Used to love doing pullings not chinups as training for competitive rowing. We used to do 5 sets of 25. Now I am 67 I have had shoulder surgery, wrist surgery and have 2 elbows I can't straighten out. Well, it sounded like a good idea when we were doing them.
