Glad you’re back! This video reminds me of the book The Obstacle is the Way and that anime Re:Zero. I also have to keep starting over and over again and I always told myself to get back to zero, because zero is way more than negative.

🙋🏻‍♀️ your video came at the perfect timing for me. Going through some issues today. The phrase that keeps me wanting to do better and revisit when I'm feeling off is "Mindset is everything". A reminder that dwelling on certain things won't change how you feel...changing your mindset and looking at things from a different perspective and light will have a better effect. Hi Cindy, absolutely. Funny enough I was listening to a Huberman podcast episode today about the significance of mindset to physiological responses and changes in our body, so you're absolutely right. although sometimes it takes a while to shift the mindset, even believing we can make the change to affect outcome is the perfect start.

i attempted to read it when i was a teenager, i think perhaps now is a good time to revisit that book

@@DiaJin It isn't for teenagers, I think. I read that book when I was nearly 30. Unhappy with my life, job, people around me. Full of live and desperetly craving for a change. It is interesting that a few months later I was drafted into the army... where in a military library I found ...Tropic of Cancer. But don't force yourself. If still can't read it, then try in a few years.

You're back! What a lovely surprise! I saw the live stream that went out on your old channel when it got hacked, and have been checking in now and again to see if you're back. Starting over or being inspired to try something new is not a challenge for me. It's sticking with something and seeing it through to the end that I find difficult. A friend once told me to "fall in love with the work", rather than focus on the end goal, and this helps me stay the course.

Dia, first off, it's really good to see you again doing well. Truthfully, Dia, I've been very concerned about you and what may have happened. The wrecked condition of your old channel made me feel uneasy. Radio silence. My fears have been alleviated. When it comes to self-doubt, well, I'm a tell it like it is kind of guy. In your case, you have won the two most important lottery tickets in life, beauty and intelligence. You just have to apply the requisite amount of effort and keep the faith. I've seen people with far less than you have to offer do well.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately which I think relates to your sentiment about hesitation to start something new. “Progress over perfection”. I personally spend a lot of time over analyzing about whether to or how to start something instead of just doing it. It’ll never be perfect no matter how much I think about anyway. I might as well get started and feel that progress.

absolutely. I try to envision the WHOLE picture which is impossible, because to start anything substantial we cannot even foresee all the different things that will come up. I'm trying to reframe my own perfectionist tendencies and just try to have fun "stumbling" into things I enjoy:) best to you Justin!
