June mornings in North Louisiana go something like this: I wake up, have a cup of coffee while I watch Roots and Refuge, and then I get dressed and go pick blueberries. So you won’t be surprised that I almost spit out my coffee when I saw you were at Pop’s! When I drove out there, I told the owner how I saw her cameo on my favorite KZbin channel. She said “Well, I finally made it!” I’m so glad that you got to go to Pop’s! It’s so fun to see and hear everybody out there on these sweet summer mornings.

Ben's bucket with one lone blueberry reminded me of this poem by Genevieve Taggard Millions of Strawberries Marcia and I went over the curve, Eating our way down Jewels of strawberries we didn't deserve, Eating our way down Till our hands were sticky, and our lips painted. And over us the hot day fainted, And we saw snakes, And got scratched, And a lust overcame us for the red unmatched Small buds of berries, Till we lay down - Eating our way down - And rolled in the berries like two little dogs, Rolled In the late gold. And gnats hummed, And it was cold, And home we went, home without a berry, Painted red and brown, Eating our way down. Love ya Ben!

It was very nice to hear you reminisce. More than that, it is moving to hear the love in your words, and the value you place on family. My family (my brothers and parents, also my fiancé and my most beloved cousin) have all passed on. What I wouldn't give to see them again. My attempts to have children failed, and it's hard to know that I'll be childless and alone for the rest of my life. So it makes me glad to see others value their family with conscious high regard, and honor that love in word and deed. Blessings to you, sweet girl, and to everyone you love.

I am speaking generally of my impression, and more specifically your thoughts on how you need to get out of the way, so Jeremiah can do what he envisions for your kitchen. The place you've told him you dream of working in. I am certain the end result will be better than you imagined. I am so glad you realize Miah's need for creativity by comparing it to your own expression. I am so glad I stumbled across KZbin videos! Yes, get out of the way, so someone can love you!! So enjoyed your visit with your Aunt and Uncle and lore of the two houses, trees, and memories. You tell inviting stories. Don't ever forget to tell your story. Love you much, Rossi J from Indiana!

You can end up working at cross purposes out of pure love for each other. You don't want to demand too much, or take more than he ought to be asked to give--and in trying to be frugal and thrifty and efficient and low-maintenance you can end up stealing a joy and excitement he has about doing work he really loves as a gift to you--and to himself, and his children. Sometimes you want to go easy, and just make your kids peanut butter jelly. Sometimes you want to cook Christmas dinner for love and delight. I am glad you are getting out of his way and giving him the joy of his gift to you all, from the bounty of his talent.
