I had a +16 AD that had a 8 minute Priestess fight due to no one understanding the Transfusion mechanic. Boss healed to full 4 times, and we still lived. I had no idea it was not possible to not understand such a simple mechanic. I don’t have OBS on my PC, but about 4 minutes in I laughed to myself “Metro would have got a kick out of this one”

You got me into wanting to help low keys players. Did a DHT 11 and saw the hunter get popped on the mushrooms. He said he didn't think it could 1 shot him.

I honestly think the Druid was some kind of bot. We had a Hunter in our group so the exact thing. But he was also firing off Bloodlust (from his pet) on cooldown. And sending silly spells out, like the Druid was using his knock back randomly. We tried to talk to him in chat. He never responded once. And it was the Hunter's key.

When a group fails Vol'kaal, I tell the tank every time, your job is to stay on Vol'kaal and interrupt him, that's it. PS that boomy must have been using a bot

@@heythereguysitsMetro I mean, the tooltip for RSK does say it reduces "the effectiveness of healing on the target" by 25%, so I presume if two monks RSK a totem, that reduces the effectiveness of healing on that totem by 50%? I am pretty sure it's not meant to stack, but Windwalkers used to be able to one shot bosses in Aberrus, because the tier set (which was also based around Rising Sun Kick and buffing its damage if used after a Fists of Fury cast) would stack with every additional WW monk in the raid (plus it stacked multiplicatively, but that's a whole other thing on top), so probably just another case of Rising Sun Kick (or, rather, an effect/aura related to it) being bugged.

Man I had the same experience with a pug group - me tanking Blood DK. It was their key and they didn't know they had to take all of the totems down at the same time before moving onto the boss. Seemed to take forever to get them down :)

If there's one thing I've learned in Mythic + PUGs - low level or not - it's that no one knows any of the mechanics in any of the Boss Fights in AD. You can guarantee someone will get eaten by Razan, screw up a Rez Totem on the big guy, not do any damage on the Priestess' adds and will ignore all red puddles, and finally, someone *will* run away from the group and spawn their add off in Timbuktu during the last boss.

it is called fire side because 90% of groups miss t he kick on bwomsammich might , therefore fiery enchant goes off in there mostly. it is indeed hot and fiery lul xD. This specific group will teach players about priority interrupts and what kind of spells. i remember fortified, teeming on this side back in BFA, GLOOOOOORRIOOUUUSS ! lol

The boss gets healed by the closest totem so they do take constant damage it's just not evenly split because the boss jumps around.

When i tank that boss i , ignore totems for the most part and just do rupts. When i see totems about to go down , i wait for one last rupt then quicky switch to highest HP totem. I don't use add-ons And can lose track of the DOT going off if i try to DPS totems whole fight. Can do up to 22 timed doing this. That tank either needed some good add-ons ( i don't like but to each there own ) or focused on boss only. DPS can handle the totems for the most part ( but that druid was clearly not helping )

The reason the totem doesn't heal to full is because WW (only for WW) Rising Sun Kick puts a healing debuff on the target.

its because the druid is dotting all the totems, I've caused this as balance by dotting all 3 standing in the middle with starfall and then hitting one the other players aren't and they don't seem to realise and just tunnel a totem dead which causes all to go due to rolling dots

Personally I am happy to never see AD again. BfA dungeons I hate so much. The design of them was so bad. With Dragonflight talents it's not as bad as back in actual BfA. But I still very much dislike how easy it is to fail due to one.

A 17 is technically a "low" key for 3k+ players, but it's nowhere near a beginner/first timer key level. How are you even in the position to be doing 17s if you've never stepped foot in the dungeon before? Personally even if I had the gear, and the "skill", if I didn't know a dungeon at all, I would just jump into a +2 or a +5 first to get a vague idea. Not to mention read up on the mechanics before even the +5. A 17 is not the right place to start learning, people want 2-2,5k score, weekly vaults, or chest drops at that level, so you're being a burden.

Sadly you just don't learn anything in the super low key range right now. The mechanics do too little and the impact of failure is extremely low. You won't start learning real lessons until around 17 honestly. But ya this example is one you can simply watch a video on and know what you did wrong, for sure.

I can't imagine playing alone and having to slog through low keys to gear up and stuff, because if you play below, like, 21+ keys, you can get some of the absolute dumbest people on planet Earth in your keys (and yes, it's 21+, 'cause there are some people who do not belong anywhere near 20 keys that do them for portals).
