Old English is closer to a foreign language, similar to German. This is Shakespearen era English, and the best part is that realistically it would've been spoken in an accent more similar to an American accent. What most people understand a British accent to be is an even more modern cultural occurance.

Yo speaking in old English honestly turns any conversation into a very rational yet expressive one. It’s quite remarkable what one can achieve if they use the proper language. Diffusion of arguments, persuasion, the reaching of a compromise. Shout out to y’all for keeping it alive. Highly recommend reading old 17th century love letters and writing some to eachother ❤️.

I love this! Lol. However, I must say this is not Old English. This is modern English of Shakespeare. Even Chaucer was Middle English. Old English was very Germanic and not really distinguishable by today’s dialects.
