I feel that I understood everything, especially what wasn't said. When you are bright and shinyall things in the dark will flock to your glow, but they also like to keep you surrounded in darkness. I broke up with my partner of 8 years during the pandemic and left Seattle for the Twin Cities just a week before Christmas. Love your decorating! I'm 60. When I was younger I thought "Try before you buy" was the way to go about dating. I cohabited a few times. Now I know it's better to REALLY get to know someone while you don't live together. Boundaries & understanding come from not living together before a solid commitment. A beautiful cozy tranquil home is important!

I applaude you! You got out just in time! Sometimes we have to go through the rough times, to find out how precious the freedom is. I live alone since many years, after a rough last relationship, now many ppl ask me "aren´t you gonna get together with someone?" and noooo....not anytime soon, i love my freedom, my space, my rhythm and flavour of life to much to blend it up permanently with another human being, except my children but they are grown up and mostly gone now..i say mostly bc sometimes they need to live in, between moves and such. Right now my sister is crashing with me and i wont lie, it is not easy sharing space with anyone when you got a taste for loneliness. I just recently found your channel, appreciated the first videos where you lived alone in your gorgeous studio, saw the one where you moved in with that person, and somehow was sad before finding out dark times transcurred afterwards. My building is remodeling & rent went up. You have to meet the criteria to get a updated apt. I was terrified I was going to have to move into my boyfriend's place!! No way I could handle that for long! I love living alone & being on my own! I prayed everyday that I would be approved & so thankfully I was!
