This is similar to the “apology” that President Jeb Bartlett gave to the ChiComms for being so incompetent as to lose a fighter attacking a USA surveillance plane in an incident similar to one that happened during the George W. Bush Administration, where for political reasons the USA had to apologize to the Chinese for its pilot’s incompetence at attacking an unarmed plane and their pilot died and our plane landed safely (on their airfield, as I recall).

I'm sure JMS had a HUGE grin on his face as he wrote Keffer's demise. (Keffer was only added to the ensemble cast because of network executive meddling; they wanted a "Han Solo"-type fighter pilot character. JMS balked but eventually gave in.)

To be fair I actually sympathise with the network on this one, though there was no need to make him a 'Han Solo' type. Having senior officers like Sinclair and Sheridan, security chiefs like Garibaldi and bridge crew like Ivanova flying fighters never made any sense at all. Being a fighter pilot in the real world is a full-time job and a highly perishable skill that needs constant practice to maintain proficiency. They should have left flying the fighters to the experts.

If you look closely, you can see him being burned down to the skull similar to the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Most graphic death included in the series, and it shocked me when watching the show as a kid.

Getting video evidence of the SHADOW ship was great, but there's NO WAY I would have followed it. I also appreciate how he was able to get that evidence to "the world". It's kind of like how someone records evidence of Police Brutality or some crime and uploads it to KZbin/ Social Media before anyone can intervene and cover it up or bury it.

How did the Centauri get a BOMB on the station? That Bomb had to have been specifically meant for Sheridan considering he only just now destroyed the warship and it was an act of retaliation. How did the Centauri walk around with a BOMB past station sensors? I needn't remind you that blowing up something in zero gravity should have sent shrapnel in a 360 degree spread and hit "everything" around.

Station sensors may have been only set up to prevent people from importing the bomb, not from people assembling it over time.

Given that this occurred a few weeks after the end of the Narn-Centauri war, it’s possible the bomb was originally intended for G’Kar or to take out a bunch of Narns in general. Best guess, was the bomb was for a contingency and assassinating Sheridan fit that bill. I think it’s safe to say that the Centauri could forget about receiving an apology from Sheridan after this.

My one issue with some of these scenes is there is a dude known as "Starkiller" to the Minbari, the race every species is cautious of after the Vorlons. And folks want to F around.

It was actually 2 Centauri who used a Centauri bomb. They also had identical badges on their tunics suggesting they were both working for the Centauri government, probably an Intelligence agency.
