I may have a problem... Installed BFGoodrich KO2 Tires on my 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams!

In this video I unveil my new set of BFGoodrich KO2 tires for my 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams. Yes I know... Didn't I just do this? That's correct... but those were 285/75/r16s for my other Trail Teams. I went with 265/75/r16s for this one simply because that is the OEM stock size. This didn't require me to do any alterations. No body mount chops or trimming! What do you think? Better than stock right?

So I have the 2014 TTUE and I put 285/75-16 with no mods and I off road weekly and have never had a rubbing issue.

I think you are right the white wall out does look better for the FJ.

I have 285s ko2 on my 2020 4runner and absolutely hate them. They drive and track well but the tread spacing sucks. Tons of small rocks get stuck inbetween the treads and when I drive the rocks come flying off and chip the heck out of my paint. Regardless of how slow I go after going through rock paved roads I can never get all the rocks off and they come flying off days later.

tonybuddy123 that’s everyday of my life with my 2 mile long gravel driveway haha... super used to it now. I just invested in 3M protection side panels and good running boards and mud flaps. Helps a ton.

Planning to get some BFG or Falken/Yokohama 285/70/17. I've been told these are LT tires and would impact the transmission/gearbox in the long-term since they are heavier tired - been told to change the gear ratio. Did you have do that or face any problems?

I'm with you on the white letters out. I wanted to get some in 275/60r20 for my Tundra but they discontinued the white letters in all the 20 inch sizes so blackwall it is

Ever Consider just a front small leveling spacer for the fj,tundra,or 4runner. Ko2’s are worth it.

Would you say those 285/75/16s are noisy? I want some all terrain, but with the 2 inch lift i got on my fj, i don't want a lot of noise!

Do you know if 275/70/R17 will work on the stock suspension? Any thoughts about ko2? Are they as good as the original ko

KO2s are excellent. I love them... they look better too. 👌🏻 I think they’ll fit but you’ll be super close to rubbing the front body mounts.

@@UntamedMotors installed them 275/70/17 on stock suspension, super quiet and no rubbing under full articulation. It may run if I brake hard while the steering is in full lock. An inch gap

Untamed Motors that’s a fair price! Sucks his bank is giving him a hard time. I flew from FL to Oklahoma today to purchase a 2012 TT - Seller neglected to show me pictures of the poor repair work done to the vehicle so I packed up my things and headed back to the airport to fly back instead of driving what I thought was going to be my newest toy. Flew all the way out there for no reason. My search continues! Hope your deal works out. 2013 is my favorite year, cement gray is the best color.

Pedro Rodriguez I sold the Raptor for a specific reason and that was to be loan free prior to buying a house in July. I’m no longer moving for 4 years, instead it’s just 1 so I decided not to buy a home. Besides low mileage TTs only appreciate in value. I’ll drive this FJ for 2-3 years and still sell it for more that what I paid. The TRD Pros deprecate a lot slower than Raptors.
