Of the two pictures the right side one is far more compelling and more balanced than the left side picture which is chaotically vieing for attention to each cluster of objects in the scene and the the cluster of trees on the right edge of the frame has become a discordant distraction in the overall picture area! The brighter portion of the foreground is a little bit of too bright for both the pictures considering the overall mood of the scene as the brighter color section takes away much attention from the romantic misty mystery of the overall mood! I'm stunned by the portraits and mountain bike sports in the same atmospheric condition!

In terms of your question Mads, I think I preferred the image on the right. With the image in vertical orientation your eyes were more fixed on the main subject in the centre. Very much looking forward to your Greenland video as your social media posts were captivating

Of the two photos the right hand version is stronger. The main trees are better stated and the foreground seems more coherent, slightly less scattered (primarily in terms of color). I don't think the extra small right hand tree in the left hand image adds anything. I really like the green / cyan / yellow / orange color palette.

Why is it a good thing that the Tamron doesn't have image stabalisation? I would have thought that it was okay that it didn't have Image Stabalization because you could use the IS in the camera, but it shouldn't be a benefit that the lens is missing IS.
