The day has finally come where I decided to quit my job and leave corporate America. I made good money, didn't hate my job, and liked the people I worked with so it wasn't an easy decision. To be honest, I've been working really really hard to get to where I was at. So then why did I leave my job? In this video, I’ll explain how this accidentally happened, the 3 things I learned that made me quit my job, the thought process leading up to it, and give you an idea of what I’ll be doing with my time.

If you need help then contact a Certified Financial Fiduciary before trying anything that is mentioned in this video. I prefer a Fiduciary financial advisor that charges an hourly fee as opposed to an ongoing fee based on a % of your portfolio. Always remember that incentives determine the type of advice they give you so one that charges an hourly fee is less likely to be problematic.

I did the same back in 2019. Tried multiple entrepreneurial endeavors (youtube, affiliate marketing, network marketing, real estate brokerage, trading). Also used the time to read a ton of books. Unfortunately everything failed and after a year and a half I had to get back to corporate slavery (or so it seemed). Point is, don't get too much carried away by what you see here. It can be done but you have to have a way to get regular income. Don't wait to figure that out after you quit.

Interesting but I don’t think this is good advice . I am a manager and my employees who are in good positions getting interest work keep saying stuff like this. I keep saying, everything gets more routine as you get middle aged. It just is. You need to be able to handle it. It doesn’t only impact your attitude about work.

I accidentally took 2 years off of work as well when I was laid off in September of 2018. I took a couple of freelance gigs to make ends meet, then started a food business that I scaled until the pandemic hit. It was an awesome time - probably the best thing I've ever done! Thanks for reminding me how great that was and re-inspiring me.

I'm quitting in 1.5 months after working here for 5 years exactly by 7/31. I'm done with Healthcare! 6-12months off to do what I wanted. Woohoo!

I'm personally taking a mini retirement currently. Honestly I needed this video. It spoke to me a lot. I spent about 12 years working 80+ hours a week and needed to do this for me. But I think it may be time to stop being scared of action.

I’m feeling this way now. 4 years into the same job. Thanks for the video. Also, what the hell happened to the real Jeff Bezos? Incredible what he looks like now. And very suspicious.

Hey Jarrad. I came across your video and am glad I did. I had just lost my 6-figure income job about a month ago and was debating whether I want to go back to finding another job again. After watching your video, I believe I can do better. Thanks for putting out this video.
