Hey guys! Now that Tiersets are returning, I decided to make a tierlist of all of the upcoming bonuses for 9.2. However since I don't exactly know the ins and outs of every class and spec, I decided to call up a few friends along the way to rank their specific classes or specs. I hope you enjoy!

Most pros in smaller team-based games play in pugs together, often assigned into teams opposing some of their teammates, and this bleeds into...y’know, just being normal human beings and talking to each other. There’s less esports where this doesn’t happen than ones where it does.

Shadowpriest tier set does synergize with the Shadowflame Prism legendary. When you get free Mind Blast procs it procs the cleave of Shadowflame Prism, giving it more damage, extending your shadowfiend/mindbender, giving you a LOT more insanity. It is a significant synergy and allows you to do very insane single-tar, cleave, and also uncapped AOE. S tier tierset.

I strongly disagree about the aoe, because SFP is capped to 5 targets, and in an anoe situation you will be spamming seering nightmare and not play around mindblast procs.

@@Trains768 It's passive cleave when hitting prio targets as well. Yes SFP isn't amazing in massive target counts but we have already seen how good funnel specs are in M+ and spriest has a very similar damage pattern with SFP. Also, you press mind blast in higher target counts with SFP+Tier Set, so unless you know what the sims show already, that target count might be 8-10 mobs or it might even be ideal to press mindblast to proc tier set no matter the target count.

Shot in the dark comment. I get a lot of the video is Raid focused, with a bit of M+. That said, healers section only touched on M+ with paladins and druids as like "I dont know" for m+. Anyone through a rough rankings for tier for healers in m+?

@@whostheree I actually understand both sides to be fair, moonkins have been super op from the start of SL but as a spec are very undertuned, they just benefit A LOT from overturned borrowed powers like legendaries, Boat in 9.0 and the Sinful hysteria in 9.1. Try a "raw" chicken and it's so bad it would just need a patch with no insanely tuned borrowed powers to be bottom 5 easily. For 9.2 though we don't know the tuning yet, it seems good for raiding at least so moonkins are probably still in for a good spot next tiers. The thing though is that with Venth nerf moonkins will be very bad at the start, without their complete set and double legendary, so most likely benched for high level progress unless some are very lucky and get their set fast. It's all speculation though but the reason why moonkins always whine is that they are only strong because of overturned borrowed powers, it's just pure luck, they are not like those three dps specs classes like mages who know they will be viable each raid.

Legion blood dk tanking, fucking insane. The only expansion I mained a tank in normal and heroic raiding and it was bonkers. Outhealed every healer, near impossible to kill, and gave leech to teammates. And the damage was phenomenal.

@@levilamperouge8917 that's not a buff tho. The tier set is still dogshit, same with the covenant leggos. The 2pc does literally nothing for us since the extra 2 seconds of combustion don't apply to skb busts. and they nerfed the 4pc by 50% (yeah it was insanely good before, but now its just meh)

I don't understand why the Aff 4 piece is so bad. The free insta casts of MR make it easy to keep your stack of Malefic Wrath and allows you to pool more shards for burst windows. That coupled with the 2 piece bonus of your dots being extended by MR makes it actually good. I was watching Kalamazi test it and he wasn't having to even refresh his Agony, Corruption or UA, they were basically just perma dots and instead just got way more drain time which is surely a big damage increase.

Is it nice, yea but it is veeery lazy aff is about dot/buff management and what they do as mr dmg increase is just unnerfing what they did in 9.1 it does zero aoe(i dont mind that cuz aff doesnt need aoe buff) cuz you spam seed anyway not mr. They nerfed our st to ground and now they are just unnerfing it without anything else. And with dot extendtion you will mostly drain soul the entire fight. Is it good, kinda. Creative and fun? Def not

4pc is considered bad because it ignores Affliction's burst AOE potential through StS Seed. Barring further tuning, Rapture doesn't even get its old base damage back with tier. The full bonus looks like a lazy, half assed effort at compensating Aff locks for their heavy handed single target nerfs. I'm going to miss Dagger of Necrotic Wounding.

uhm So both Eric and Roger said the MM tier did nothing single target but it actually does quite a lot, since you get 30% buffed AiS and RF every procc, which will buff by 30% pretty much 1 every 3 or 4 of these you cast.

Ret is already boring enough outside of our little 1 minute burst CDs. Apparently one of the better double leggo setups gets rid of those and goes back to a zeal setup. Tack on the horrible tier set, and they are just really giving them a pounding this tier. I have hopes they will address at least the tier bonus but I hope they don't send us back to a mind-numbingly boring rotation.

Like the other comment said, your tier set might not be great but the spec is fine. Unless you're doing Cutting Edge/RWF, any spec is viable. Just learn to play it well and you'll be absolutely fine.
