I show you how to replace a CV shaft in an ATV

Dino’s Tinker Shed, S3 Ep34 How to replace a CV shaft in an ATV.
Today I walk you through changing a CV shaft in a 2014 Yamaha Bruin 350. CV shafts are a common weak point on ATV’s especially if you run them in deep mud with sticks and other debris. Sharp rocks and sticks can cut the rubber boots and allow contamination to enter the joint causing failure. In many cases, if caught quickly, a boot can be replaced before damage is caused however in this case we are going to replace the entire shaft.

Great project to do! I have done lots of work on several atvs of my families and freinds. Some come apart easy pretty much like that one did and some take a lot of work to get apart. On the side by sides the rear axle splines twist in the rear end and they are a monster to get out! Always enjoy your videos! It doesnt matter what you are working on.
