Imagine giving the pitch of your ideas, where it might define the next 50yrs, no amount of practice can prepare you when you stand there alone and have to deal with ppl who are monitoring your every word and body language. Whereas I dont think people should have to remember their numbers exactly, as it is normal to hand over print outs of figures, I think it is a bit odd that so many people don't seem to know them at all, particularly as this is on every single presentation I have seen.

It's not that many numbers to keep track of and if they have problem remembering, they can bring along a printout of their books.

Not everyone is great republic speaking and even something rehearsed hundreds of times can be easily forgotten under pressure especially if nervous. Weird how they can bring in patent certificates as well as confirmed orders but they're not allowed to show proof of financial records. So strange :(
