For those mentioning his color blindness... My son is red green color blind and he memorizes the shades of colors which is basically different shades of grays and yellows. He can tell which one is red because red is the darker shade of gray to him. It’s hard for him to explain to us what he sees. However, if you look up “Deuteranopia color blindness” you can see what it’s like for him and others like him and how they see different shades without actually seeing the colors.
