What was the guy with crutches thinking? I know this isn't a major race or anything and no hate/good on him for running with the crutches, but he had to know that he would cause a massive backup of runners by starting right at the front like that. I'm an okay runner, but I always start back of centre - I'd rather overtake a bunch of people and get a slightly slower time than get in everyone's way.

Hey, how many kilometers do you run per week? These are my next goals as well
@jonasjoko2943 ай бұрын
@@erik4177 hey, currently I try to run 4x a week and average about 40km, so a few smaller runs (one recovery, one faster eg intervals), a threshold run and a longrun. Over the next few weeks I will probably extend the longrun to 17-20km and do more intervals of 2km in 4:05 or 3km in HM pace of 4:16 to get a feeling for the pace 😇

I find it interesting when downtime doesn't seem to affect you as much as you think it will. Ran a half marathon yesterday after running only once in 3 weeks (recovering from a 45+ mile run), not really much speed work, and was only 3 minutes behind my PR when I was blasting in ideal conditions. Still shooting for my sub 4 hour marathon before 40 which will be rough, but I think after that, I'm going to focus on half marathons or less. Just the time and strain of marathon training adds up.

I give all of you a lot of credit, that course has a lot of hard corners, and it's so hard to keep on pace like that!
@stefanl.56003 ай бұрын
Congratulations! But oh my God, what a running course. The course is extremely narrow and difficult to run, I've never seen anything like it in Germany or the Netherlands, for example. One of the two runners from Oslo bends over at the kerb, very dangerous. And someone could come out of the entrances at any time. Aren't the roads allowed to be closed for a short time?

I think the insta 360 camera works with the run data and you can add the overlay
@msalquistlandin3 ай бұрын
@@innesdunbar Ok, but how do you technically add it?
@innesdunbar3 ай бұрын
@@msalquistlandin Must be in editing the footage, I only know as other running creators mentioned it in their videos. I’m sure Goran himself will answer, he is good at interacting with comments and he will let you know. It looks really good though. Must add all the data from a GPX file from Coros or Garmin and integrate it in the editing software, both the gps data and the camera will have position and timing data included to synchronise the information.
@goranwinblad3 ай бұрын
Hi! Yeah there is a way to add your Coros watch data when you use a insta 360 camera in the insta 360 app this works good. But the way I do it is using a free software called virb edit then I just import the video and Coros data to it.

I was also wondering this, my own heart rate in a 5k would be mid 180s with 19:15 being my fastest this year. Goran running 17 mins with a HR that barely breaks 170 is amazing to me 😂 obviously not a measure of how deep you're digging, great race and nice to see an improvement, can't control who else is on the start line.
@99cya3 ай бұрын
@@Lenquo if you are pre-fatigue its possible that your HR cannot reach maximum values. Your HR not going up to the fullest in a 5k is indicating that. I would say his preparation was not ideal to this race format. But that can happen with other stuff on your agenda and mind.

Thank you for wearing the ridiculous apparatus on your head for these races. Not easy to film running content for this reason. A bike on the track or a drone or a camera mounted on a vehicle on a dirt road or trail are pretty annoying to get action shots in. But in forestry trails or in your case a race thats not really on the road the pov style is a great choice.

Haha yeah it looks weird but does the job and once in the race I tend to not think of that I’m wearing it.
