Alex; I absolutely love your content. Quick technical note; you might need to normalize / increase the volume of your videos before uploading. Before clicking on this video, I was listening to a podcast. The podcast was perfectly fine to listen to, but when I switched to this video of yours, I had to crank the volume all the way & it was still hard to hear. I've noticed this on several of your other videos too. Just a constructive tip for you. Keep up the amazing work - I learn something from each & every one of your videos!!!

Oh man, I wish I saw this 18 months ago, I saw so many red dresses and did exactly what you said not to do. Started multiple businesses that were super hard and none had any real success. Now I have come full circle, gone back to flipping houses which upon reflection is where I had the most skills, character traits and beliefs to support the success. I will stay laser focused on this business until I hit $100 million. Your insights are second to none Alex. Thank you brother!

Careful from who you're getting advice. Are these 'gurus' actually running a successful business? Or is their business one of selling business advice to others, or running publications that talk about entrepreneurship from the sidelines? I'd heavily discount the value of advice said by people who have never actually done the thing you're aiming to do.

Honestly Alex, I know it’s a “no” don’t worry (the “ROI” isn’t worth for you to meet), but it would be great to grab drinks and just hear your thoughts about life and philosophy. I know you talk about business in this channel, but you sprinkle in thoughts about purpose and meaning and I would love to know more on your thoughts on that (even though it appears to me that it’ll be a bit nihilistic). Anyways great channel, love your content.

You're wearing one of my inventions on your left hand! I was not the one to take it to market because I stayed focused on the one thing I was already highly successful with. I don't feel good about not being distracted by it. I feel bad that I didn't delegate that project to one of my employees. Later, the people who did market it, went on to make what I sell now! My valuable, free advice to you is that you delegate more since you want a billion. How about you stop reaching for the billion and look for better ways to help people. Not by giving your money away though, you already know that that doesn't work.

I learned this the HARD way. I just killed an offer that was cash-producing because it serves as a distraction and complicated my life. Find one online business to focus on like an agency or ecommerce. Then pay for a coach or mentor if you can afford it. Make sure that coach has a lot of experience and success in the business you choose. Once you pick an online business, narrow it down to one niche. For example if you choose an agency pick a high ticket niche within agencies such as roofing, solar, etc. If you choose ecomm pick a market that is constant year round, not trending items. Lastly be willing to work for free for your first few clients in exchange for a video testimonial if you go the agency route. Regardless of which direction you go be willing to spend money on paid traffic like Facebook and youtube so you can scale really fast. Most importantly by Alex's book if you haven't already! I wish someone shared what I just shared with you when I was 16.
