I honestly love them all so much. The only one i find kind of meh is Bandit just because the colors are the exact same as Moe, Tom, and Rover. Another blue cat with white accents. Can't help what the AI used to make it, but I wish he looked a bit more unique, but with what was done, I love him and the name Bandit is fantastic. Stripes is by far my favorite and I genuinely wish we could get him in the game and Buttons is adorable as well! With a bit of polishing, they could be really good villagers. Not bad for an AI, it did pretty well with the overall shapes in the original art. /lh

Trixy have kind of a lamp vibes that I like, I'm sure we can make it into a bear-shaped lamp and it wouldn't look too weird. I also feel like Stripes would have been a bit more interesting with the "stripes" being on only one side like the IA generated it. I think it's nice that not all villagers are symetrical and I think Stripes could definetly pull the asymetrical look.

i watched a video by a graphic designer about visual ai like this and he said something important: creativity is born from knowing what to restrict/remove, and ai just kinda throws everything at the wall for a human to interpret and condense. so i dont think these kinds of programs will _replace_ artists outright, but it might simplify the concept design process by throwing a bunch of ideas out in the initial phases and letting designers pick what works, rather than the designer themselves having to draw dozens or hundreds of iterations.

The program is Switch Toolbox. You’ll need either a modded switch or an emulator to get custom characters in the game. KK Clue has a really good tutorial for all of that in a playlist on his channel
