Giratina is an absolute terror in its Generation episode. It just casually shows up and stops a madman from using two other legendaries to rewrite reality. Then, it drags said madman away to the Distortion World so that he can’t do anymore harm. Giratina’s plan was pretty much to just stare Cyrus down until he died (if he even CAN die in the Distortion World). Imagine your seconds away from essentially becoming the god of a new world only for a demonic ghost dragon to drag you to a dimension where nothing exists and everything is unstable just so it can watch you slowly die. There are two kinds of people in the Pokémon world; those that are fans of Giratina, and those that should be scared of it.

Wait OH MY GOD I had NO idea that was Dan Green until you said it and now I feel stupid for not recognizing the voice before hand. He's TRULY iconic. Like to the point where you don't care if you only hear Yami when he speaks you're just like "YAMI'S HERE ALRIGHT 10/10" lol. I ALSO LOVE that they used animal cries for these shorts and Evolution rather than just them saying the Pokemon names over and over and over like in the anime. I get it, it's meant to be like "see they're talking" but animals talk to baby. Just in their own ways. The animation quality is SO good too. Especially in the Groudon and Kyogre episodes-you really get a sense of their power in their primal forms in those eps.

The thing with Silver and Looker episode. This was the "first time" we learn about Silver and Giovanni relationship as son and father. Many fans knew about this but this episode was for the larger fan base.

@@xXAuraSoulXx technically firered and leafgreen was the first, as if you talk to the rocket admin in the sevii isles base she'll say something to the effect of "giovanni didn't just abandon us, he abandoned his son too, he should be about your age. He has red hair" (not a direct quote as i don't remember the exact lines and I'm not bothered to look it up). Considering the only boy with red hair up to that point was silver - and silver hated the new team rocket, scoffed at the idea of giovanni coming back, and you first meet him near the area you go through to get to victory road & viridian city, this was all but explicit confirmation that silver = giovanni's son before HGSS explicitly told you "silver is giovanni's son".

For the Kyogre flying one, Kyogre isn’t actually “flying” per say. Their swimming through the rain!….which basically means Kyogre is floating LMAO

One of my favourite things about Generations is that it's the closest we've ever come to an official proper depiction of Groudon and Kyogre's apocalyptic nature. Having the drought theme playing during Groudon's awakening and their battle theme playing throughout the Kyogre episode was just the cherry on the top. I was surprised that they actually depicted Maxie and Archie getting killed by them, it gave me Mewtwo Strikes Back vibes with the scientists at the start. Makes me wish Gen 3 got a film with a similar tone, MSB had an apocalypse being brought on by a usually neutral Legendary from the games, while Groudon and Kyogre are basically excinction-level events throughout gen 3.

Listen, I love Omega Ruby. Groudon over Kyogre any day. But let's be honest, Team Aqua's way cooler than Magma. Courtney's a crazy robot girl, they took away Tabitha's awesome cape and the grunts are kinda lame. Then you move to Aqua and we have Shelly who.....speaks for herself, Matt who's jacked out of his mind, Archie who wears an anchor on his neck and their awesome pirate crew. The winner here is obvious.

Deoxys and Rayquaza will forever be one of the coolest combos in all of Pokemon to me. The Deoxys movie was always one of my favorite Pokemon movies as a kid, Delta Episode is one of the greatest sequences in Pokemon history, the Deoxys battle theme is one of the greatest Legendary battle themes of all time, and both Pokemon have such amazing designs. On top of that, Deoxys vs Rayquaza fight is the best Generations episode
