Music teacher here…. That was flawless, as usual. Alanis Morisette wrote the song and said it best… he has such strength and power yet vulnerability…. Always love your reaction videos! To admit he made a mistake while competing on a national stage, most people wouldn’t do that or wouldn’t want the world to know just like when he wrote the lyrics on the piece of paper and stuck it on his guitar…as Luke said “there’s no way people cannot love him”. I’m still holding out for him to sing “Dreams” a song he composed for his sisters wedding. There are really great singers this season but Iam has captured everyone’s heart because of how real, genuine and humble he is. So proud of him displaying our laid back Polynesian vibe with the flip flops, aloha shirts, leis etc. In the Tongan culture when you put a lei on someone else like Iam did with Oliver just before walking off the stage that’s a sign of respect, admiration and love for that person. So cute!
