Just had this kit installed on my '23 RS5 (B9.5). The kit is configured for a B9 RS5, which has a 3-piece Inlet Pressure Pipe, vs the 1-piece on the B9.5. To make it fit the B9.5 Inlet Pressure Pipe, my installer had to trim the OEM pipe, and then bead-roll the end to make it connect to the IE-supplied plumbing. The mounting brackets required some finesse, but otherwise the kit fit the B9.5. As for performance differences from OEM A2W IC setup, my RS5 appears to build boost quicker, especially from 2k rpm. And while the engine feels like it has more lower-end torque, the boost doesn't fall-off at higher rpms like the stock A2W IC setup. Overall, from just my initial drive, it looks like IE hit this one out of the park!

Sorry about the trouble with the 1 piece vs. two piece throttle inlet. We missed those part number variations when we designed the kit (any model year B9/B9.5 can have either style form the factory), for now we have listed the required part numbers needed for those with the 2-piece inlet styles. We are working on a design revision that will make this kit fit both versions and will have it out ASAP. So glad to hear you're loving your iE A2A IC!

I'd love to see this for my C8 S7. Performance parts are few for the S7 with the same powerplant. I've been limited to a carbon fiber intake, lowering links and exhaust.

Nice job! This is obviously going to partially block the flow of air over the radiator. Did you measure coolant temps during the test compared to stock?

We did. No drastic changes were seen with this intercooler installed and IAT's were reduced significantly.

We have looked into developing it. There are a lot of changes that impact fitment and with us being US based, it makes development tricky.

Will this also fit the 2019 Audi RS4 B9 UK cars as they have the same engine ect 2.9 TT , all the intakes fit ect too , Ps happy to test one on the RS4 B9 platform @intergraded engineering

Everything we have seen shows it will not. The RS4 uses a different style crash bar and the intercooler will contact the crash bar. It requires extensive modifications to the crash bar to make it work.

do you have a how to install video? Is this a simple remove the old water to air ic and replace with this intercooler install? Do you remove the pump from the old ic and does the system trigger a warning/code?

We have a how to install guide on our website. A video will be coming later. It is fairly simple, you will remove the pump from the old one. Our kit includes a water pump delete connector so you don't get codes.

Looks great. I have awe intake and a miltek exhaust. Do i need a tune with adding this intercooler?

No, you don't HAVE to run a tune with an intercooler, but for maximum benefits you would want to and you have other hardware that would pair nicely with a stage 1 tune.

How come switch to air to air cooling from water to air?

The water to air intercoolers are extremely problematic and prone to failure, letting coolant in the system. Air to air eliminates that and allows for better cooling.

Yes, that is the entire purpose of this intercooler. It's an extreme upgrade over the factory system and is going to drastically reduce you IAT's which would be your boost temperatures.

Unfortunately not I’ve just Beta tested this on my B9.5 UK RS4 Issue is we have a shorter alloy crash bar support so the IC doesn’t fit and you can’t refit the front crash bar. I’ve let IE know and hopefully they will produce an option for the UK/Euro market
