You're describing shyness. A shy person might die of embarrassment. BTW, can an extrovert also be shy? I don't know lol Introversion is about energy and personal space - think of an introvert having a personal space bubble, much like a hamster's plastic bubble. It's draining and irritating when people intrude in an introvert's personal space. As an extreme introvert, I have to flee over enthusiastic extroverts who want hugs and get in my personal space lol
