Romans 8: 3 For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Since there 1,3k comments noone would notice. It is really not about working to achieve rather its just a will to live, and matter of love. Dont mislead it with survival instinct. Like to accept that youve been put into a body and have to sustain it with food gaining money for it. The rest is just a will to live. If you dont wanna be alive , those achievements would make you want to be alive? If its just Pain to gain , but you dont really want to achieve it , its just muscles to deteriorate , money and possesions to leave behind here , witnessing wars not being able to do anything ,only good deeds are left there after , and if its said that theres such big consequence of this life it just like , if you want to gain something here do it , be satisfied with it , if you dont want it you have to accept that you have to, becuase if you dont , you really dont wanna find about what you gonna get in return for refusal Nobody will force you to want to be alive and nobody will force you to kys. I just wanna leave , but I have to get up and work for food. So basically in eyes of someone like this guy not wanting to be alive is a blashpemy , becuase this life is a gift that you refuse. Discipline can be forced but Love cannot be forced. Btw im most grateful for things that came easy and it was lucky , like missing someone at very high speed on roundabout , or missing hitting a pedestrain that just breached on a pass, just luck of not harming others. And about achieving for example achieving passing college , cause i didnt want to work , then work to have money that you only need for food and bills , then to build your career , a house etc , but all the time thinking about death. Achievements doesnt mean totally anything if you dont want to be alive , and you dont have love inside yourself. Christ loved , so He achieved a passage for us. So how can you achieve love when you dont wanna be alive? Being gratefull and with acceptance doesnt change that. Its just rather a guilt motive that if someone has it worse and want to be alive , you just cant be wanting to die.

Jesus said: John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. Jesus said he is the way, therefore he was not the destination. The destination was the father, the only true god as Jesus himself said: “John 17:3 Now this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and whom you have sent, Jesus Christ. » In Jesus' day, Jesus was the way for the lost sheep of the sons of Israel, his people, and the only true god was still God, the Father. In Noah's day, Noah was the way for his people and the one true god was still God, the Father. In Abraham's day, Abraham was the way for his people and the one true god was still God, the Father. In the days of Moses, Moses was the way for his people and the one true god was still God, the Father. And if Christians say that only Jesus is the way, then he made a big mistake: he should have come from the beginning and not using the womb of Mary but the womb of Eve to reach the world so that all the descendants of Adam and without exception and from the beginning have this important information that Jesus is the only way and no one else!!!

"Proof from Bible Jesus is not God': How can God say this? *“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”* (John 5:30) *Also Jesus said, “...for my Father is greater than I.”* (John 14:28) If Jesus and God were the same then he would not have said what he said in the above verses. There is NOT a single verse in the complete Bible, where Jesus Christ himself says "I am God" or "Worship me." *“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God.”* (Mark 10:18). *Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.* (Mark 12:29) *Jesus declared, “I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet.* Qur’an 19:30 [Jesus said], *“And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”* Qur’an 19:36

But what does carrying one's cross actually mean? Does it mean to just stay close to Jesus or does it mean something else? Do you know? Honest question
@jessedierick141
@jessedierick141 7 ай бұрын
@@hypersonicnl To "pick up the cross" is a call from Jesus to His followers, encapsulating the depth of commitment required to follow Him. This concept is mentioned in several places in the Gospels; for instance, in Matthew 16:24, Jesus told His disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Picking up one's cross means to willingly accept and endure the trials, sufferings, and persecutions that come with living a life committed to Jesus Christ. It's an invitation to total surrender, putting God's will above one's own desires and comforts. This metaphor of the cross, which is a symbol of suffering, sacrifice, and ultimately the execution of Jesus, emphasizes the cost of discipleship. Taking up the cross is not about bearing burdens or enduring hardships in general life. Instead, it specifically refers to the sacrifices made for the sake of the Gospel, living out one's faith in a way that may invite opposition, misunderstanding, or even hostility from the world. Moreover, this command to pick up the cross and follow Jesus is rooted in the understanding that true life and salvation are found in Him. As Jesus continued in Matthew 16:25, "For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." This paradoxical statement reveals that true fulfillment and eternal life come not from seeking one's own interests and safety, but from surrendering to Jesus, sometimes at great personal cost. In essence, to pick up the cross is to live a life of self-denial, sacrificial love, and unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ, trusting that despite the hardships, God's purposes are being fulfilled and that eternal joy awaits those who follow Him faithfully.

I think both are hard in their own ways. It's super hard and unpleasant when you live without Jesus. It's just that most don't recognize it because in denial, the comfort of their familiar worldly temptations. 😢 Being with Jesus means giving that up as much as possible, working to better yourself for Jesus and the eternal kingdom. It means being hated because they first hated Him. But we also have access to that unworldly peace He gives and our spiritual armor...the fruit of the spirit. ❤ That's irreplaceable.

@@Soyebakhtar0105 Countless times in scripture we see Jesus claiming to be more than a prophet. He claimed to be God. He also never corrected anyone who worshipped Him as God. Muhammed wrote that Allah loves people who are good. The Bible says the good news of Jesus Christ is that God loved people so much, even while we were still sinners, He sent his Son to die for us. Now by faith ALONE in Jesus we can be made clean and holy. So that He could show the undeserved His own love and change their hearts to also love. Muhammed’s message offers an unattainable hope that your own goodness might out weigh your sins before you die, to enter into eternal life. Jesus offers to cover those who look to Him with His own perfect righteousness. To forgive us ours sins if we turn to Him in humility. He also promises to fill any who trust in Him with the living Holy Spirit of God. Jesus was the once and for all sacrifice for our sin because He was the only Holy God who could do so. Jesus offers grace to sinners. Islam offers no such hope. This hope in Jesus is for YOU. He knows you by name and loves you. He waits every day for you to turn to Him so He can show you His mercy and grace. There is no sin Jesus cannot and will not forgive if we confess them to Him. The Lord said that he will give visions and dreams to people if it's his will to do so but he will give visions to people meaning his children but also sometimes the Lord will give visions and atheist dreams for some reason dreams and visions to certain people.. I was thinking to myself why couldn't the Lord give visions and dreams to all people and I came up with the question because even if the Lord does some people wouldn't believe anyway and go their own separate ways. I pray almost every day when I could remind myself that more people will get saved. But also we need to trust the Lord sovereignty his grace and mercy and forgiveness but also his holiness...

The young man's question was simple and direct. The answer is also very simple. It is actually not hard at all to follow Jesus if your own will and desires are in perfect agreement and in harmony with God's WILL. The reason why it is so hard for believers is because they cannot fully surrender their will to God and learn to see things His way. God says that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than ours. When I went through a time of having to be disciplined by the Lord, I earnestly prayed asking the Lord to discipline me and correct me so that I would align myself with His perfect will in everything. I prayed asking the Lord to reveal to me His higher ways and higher thoughts so that I could measure upto His standards and expectations instead of trying to bring God down to my level and expect Him to understand me. This prayer changed my whole life and helped me to become so strong in my divine purpose , be disciplined and help me set the bar high for my own walk with God. When you are a child of the King you learn to train yourself and walk like royalty to keep with Kingdom standards and principles and not lower the bar. The Holy Spirit personally trains you in this and transforms you from nature to character. It all depends on the CONTENT OF YOUR PRAYER. The answer is in what you pray for. I found my answer in what I prayed for. I deeply desired to know God's perfect will in everything so that I could change and align myself with His will. When we refuse to surrender our will and want God to love us inspite of our own selfish will and rebellious ways, that's when there is a clash because then it becomes a BATTLE OF THE WILLS. HIS WILL VS. YOUR WILL. Jesus said, whoever does the Father's will is His brother and sister. If Christ is in us then we need to train ourselves to do the Father's will just as Christ did.

Salvation by grace thru faith, it’s easy. Discipleship by suffering, not easy…
@Crich_Leslie
@Crich_Leslie 7 ай бұрын
Salvation by grace thru faith - not as easy as we might think. Because the work of salvation is Godʼs, not ours, doesnʼt mean itʼs easy to let Him do it. «None of you can be my disciple unless you give up everything you have.» (Luke 14:33) Itʼs like a pre-requisite. Jesus told the rich young man to sell all he had & give to the poor, _then_ come & follow Him. (Luke 18:22) Giving up your most cherished possessions & desires is the hardest thing for a human being to do. Suffering is not always that hard. It might be painful, but it does not require effort - it comes to you. But self-denial can require every ounce of will-power you can muster, and many just donʼt bother.
@epicpieho
@epicpieho 7 ай бұрын
@@Crich_Leslie It is infact easy for us to say it, because its not us who do it. Christ finished it for everyone himself. Speaking about it after the fact is boasting in Christ, not ourselves. We already KNOW he won at the Cross. So it stands to reason that if you find it difficult, or perceive it in such a way, its because of the pride of man, that of which detests and hates Grace, just as the judaizers and Pharisee did. Its sort of ironic, how pride wants an impossible challenge, aslong as its allowed to boast, it doesn't even care if it makes the cut or not. This is precisely why Pride is regarded as the most deadly sin, because not only does it allow all other sin, it arrogantly resists the truth even when it is self evident. If you believe in Christ, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit, and placed under grace in that instant. The Will of The Father is to believe on The Son, if you manage to do that you have conquered all of creation by your faith in Christ, you have overcome Satan's illusions. In all cases, discipleship will cost you alot, because it involves total conformity to Christ. But you are promised a 100 fold return of your feat in rewards. Not just heavenly ones, but immediate blessings. There is a reason why i consider myself a part of the 30 fold, because while i may have the tenacity to expect that i can do such things, Paul himself even as an apostle struggled with the flesh. I would expect very few disciples managed to land it perfectly, of course, if they did it wasn't even them doing it, it was the will of Christ in them. So verily, as Paul said, i will boast in my weaknesses because Christ's power is made perfect in weakness.

❤During the great depression, a man lost his job, exhausted his savings and forfeited his home. His grief was multiplied by the sudden death of his precious wife. The only thing he had left was his faith--and it was weakening. One day he was combing the neighborhood looking for work, and stopped to watch some men who were doing the stonework on a church building. One of them was skillfully chiseling a triangular piece of rock. Not seeing a spot where it would fit, the man asked, "Where are you going to put that?" The stonemason pointed toward the top of the building and said, "See that little opening up near the spire? That's where it goes. I'm shaping it down here so it will fit in up there." Tears came to the man's eyes as he walked away. It was as though God was reassuring him--"Shaping it down here so it will fit in up there." God was chiseling away at his life down here to prepare him for a more glorious place in heaven.

Also to put on the FULL ARMOR of GOD & to leave it on. The helmet of Salvation knowing we are SAVED that God is Ours & we are His let NO doubt come into our minds. The Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (the bible) we are to live by God's word & speak it forth to combat the lies of the enemy satan. Put on the shield of Faith, be faithful unto God in all we do. Shod your feet with the gospel of peace...be peaceful with everyone even your enemies & try to make peace when people do have strife against one another. Gird your loins with righteousness. Ask yourself this…why when Jesus came his message turned the world upside down? Why was his message so resisted by not just his own people, but Gentiles as well? We are use to the loud, the proud, and the elite being uplifted in our culture. But Jesus said blessed are the meek and the lowly. Jesus spoke against the attitudes of the elites, and the rich, that their money buying good deeds wasn’t going to earn them salvation. The way of Christ is against everything this world is about. We have been conditioned to operate exactly how the world around us has progressed for thousands of years, that when Jesus came and showed us the way, it was difficult to fathom. You are joining a kingdom that is not of this world, but is heavenly. A kingdom that you cannot see with your eyes but it’s king rules right now in the hearts of the people. Jesus himself said that narrow is the way, and few find their way to it. Broad is the way and many go down it. So ultimately many people will end up in hell, because ultimately they couldn’t let go of serving themselves and are in love with this world. But as Christians we’ve come to see the world the way God sees it. It’s upside down, evil and very wrong. Don’t be a part of it.

Frank said, jesus learnt obedience through sufferings. Obidience to who? god. Who give sufferings to jesus? God. Why do you say 'god want to share his suffering with us? It is not god who is suffering; rather. it is jesus who is suffering, according to frank.

"Be still and know that I am God" is the solution to all 'difficulties', it happens also to be in complete opposition to our born nature. The more you persistently keep at it, the more natural it becomes.🙏
