It's almost sad watching the defense struggle so terribly to put up a fight for their clients because they really have nothing to work with. Their arguments are so flimsy and full of non-sequiturs that it's hardly an argument at all. Nothing follows logically in their presentation. Actually it's a rather awful presentation and argument. It's just desperately throwing not-so-subtle innuendos against the wall hoping something will stick with at least one juror on the panel who might then deadlock the case. They would have been better off simply petitioning for mercy from the court. Since they really have no other legitimate defense the only strategy was to cause as much disruption in the court with various mistrial and other questionable motion, and to plant as much nonsense into the minds of the jurors to confuse them as they can. However, the defense attorneys, in their desperation, are coming off as even worse than the McMichaels' and Bryan...and that's not good for their clients.

These 3 stooges could've pulled this off if they had kept their mouths shut and if Roddie had never video-taped the murder. The overwhelming self-incriminating evidence made this a slam-dunk for the Prosecution Team. The Judge did a great job in handling this case and he was fair toward bothsides.

There is "Happiness" everywhere there's is probably more "Unhappiness" in richer neighborhoods. For her to suggest that other neighbors in other neighborhoods don't have parties with the same happiness is absurd. Once again these defense attorneys show their ignorance everyone wants safety, good homes, good neighbors whether you talk to them or not. Happiness does not come in a color, a neighborhood or an income...wake up!

These were the worst possible defense lawyers that could have ever tried a case listen to this one, its sounds more like she's describing Huckleberry Finn in a white picket fence community. I could have only imagine what they were saying to Arbery everytime they pulled up on him, and now the lawyer is saying it's ok to kill if your armed and you think that a Black person committed a crime because they might be driving or walking around a white neighborhood that's not even a middle class neighborhood, just average. Another terrible lawyer who has no clue whatsoever about what she's talking about she's the lawyer for Greg McMichael and she hasn't mentioned one word to defend Greg McMichael.

She knows all the jurors share the 'American dream' but she failed to impress them on the facts of the case. She failed to concretely create reasonable doubt in all but one count. Linda Dunikosi's stellar performance took the jurors into the defendants' actions and mindsets (in their own words), to the 'scene' (using the recordings) and gave them a criminal law tutorial on the charges, the applicable law and defences. Most importantly Linda invited them to convict if the threshold is met or acquit otherwise acquit. In the end the jurors were more convinced by Linda Dunikoski and duly convicted. Ps Poetic justice that her dog whistle against Ahmaud will now await his convicted murderer client.

The entire case is tragic from beginning to end...from top to bottom...from the original DA who refused to charge the defendants on down to the local police who declined to investigate. I don't think anyone believes these guys went out with the intent to kill someone. But their ill-advised actions to take matters into their own hands based on biased assumptions led to that tragic outcome. For that, they should be penalized. But life in prison for murder is way over the top for this unfortunate incident. That would be as tragic as the death of an innocent man they caused. No matter how you look at it, it's a damn shame that this happened...for everybody involved.

Arbury escalated the situation by trying to take the gun. If Arbury had just waited for the cops to arrive the only charge might have been trespassing. Arbury chose to gamble with his life.

Politics will find those three guys guilty of a crime that was truly self defense. It's all on video for everyone to see. It's sad. Mr. Arbery had the choice to run straight to the next road or turn right and cross the grassy field to avoid a confrontation. Mr. Arbery chose to attack a guy holding a firearm and that was a bad choice. I've witnessed 68 years of Black racism and White racism and it will never go away. It's been here for 401 years and it will continue to lurk in the shadows until mankind is no more.

It's not self defense when you are the initial aggressor! Ahmaud was chased and his life was threatened he had a right to defend himself.....And saying that Arbery should have evaded them better ? That has to be the #1 dumbest argument I have ever heard in a court room by "educated" attorneys. Would you use the same argument if three Black men did the same thing to a young white boy or girl ? Would you except their claim of trying to make a citizens arrest ? Would you believe that the white boy was "breaking and entering with intent to steal" even though every video of him shows that he never took anything? Would you feel like he did nothing more than trespass?

@@mstrod09 The owner called 911 in the past saying items were stolen from the home ""We had ... some stuff stolen about a week and a half, two weeks ago there." English called back a day later, telling authorities that he saw at the construction site the "same guy that was over there about a week and a half, two weeks ago." Arbery was in the home 4 or 5 times prior to that day. Arbery saw a neighbor calling the cops and acted like he had a gun then ran from the home. The police were on their way when Arbery was being followed. Arbery decided to attack and take the gun which is why he got shot. English wouldn't even testify in person. He was afraid from getting death threats.
