yes no one should have to go through what he endured. esp. at the hands of others. they think they had the right to do what they did. but ahmaud had no rights, but to surrender to them. and they were complete and total strangers, armed at that. if i came at someone like they did i would not be surprised if they fear for their life. not even common sense, but human instinct.

I don’t know about y’all but if I was chased, yelled out by two men in a truck, who showed me they have a gun, I think my instinct when the guy got out with his gun, is do exactly what Ahmad Arbery did, and fight for my life…he already tried to flee, next thing to do is…grab the gun from him. Anyone who says the victim was wrong in this are prob just like the men who thought they could get away with it!

The backroom judges chamber deals can severely temper the prosecution and empower the defense. Those backroom deals will force the parties to limit how facts are presented and employed in the deliberation stages of the trial. Under those conditions the jury will end up with a new set of deliberation instructions that most of them will not like but are compelled to rule on. The prosecution is going to lose. The legal system is very rigged.

What's gets to me is that Right wingers like Officer Tatum etc. are claiming under the law in GEORGIA that they had a right to make a citizen's arrest with a firearm. What they fools forgot to realize that the fact the Ahmuad Arbery did not want to speak to Mcmichaels, ran away from them, and tried to avoid them violated his 5th amendment right. So the citizens arrest gets thrown out the window. You cant use your 2and amendment right to violate someone else's rights. I'm glad this prosecutor is grilling him to his grave.

Unfortunately thats what's wrong in the world today. Crime is running rampant. Police can't be everywhere and sometimes the people have to protect their property and themselves. Maybe not the best way to handle things, but I don't think it was intentional until guy tried to take gun. Then it could have been either one could have been shot. Going for gun was not the smartest move. He could have waited and ask the guys why they were after him and not have kept running as if he was guilty of something.. Travis said he never said anything. I think if it had been me getting chased, I would have been screaming and yelling HELP!! to get someone to call police. Or Hey I didn't do anything! This is normal in the south. Everybody has a gun down here. And I live about an hour west of Brunswick. I mean you come into my neighborhood. We all pretty know each other, there’s a couple families I don’t know but I know them when I see them. I know what they drive when they come by and where they live and all. This behavior is not uncommon down here especially in your smaller towns. It is proven by video that he was going into a house that was being built, that does not belong to him. If he were to come to my neighborhood and done what he did, and I seen him. I would have approached him too. A lot of people would have. I would’ve asked him what he was doing and tried to find out what’s going on. Would I have brought a gun with me. Hell no. That’s where this guy messed up and unfortunately it didn’t end well. But the overall behavior in this situation like the other guy said is pretty much normal of this area.

These guys scared the hell out of the victim. The defendants crated the situation and they created the fear in the victim and now they can not claim self defense. It sure looks wrong and sounds wrong I hope the jury get what they need to charge these men, I don’t want them living next door to me.

How can they sit there with a straight face and say they were scared for their life when they are the ones with the guns. Ahmaud had nothing in his hands. Travis just threw his self defense claim right out the window especially after him agreeing that ahmaud didnt threaten him verbally or physically. If they are all convicted travis is for sure gonna have the longest prison sentence and maybe even his dad too but ole bowl cut roddie will probably have a shorter sentence if convicted.

Funny thing is Travis’ lawyers knew he was going to change his story over and over and they SHOULDN’T have let him take the stand. Linda proved that he’s a liar and that he’s lying. There’s no doubt. We the people don’t find him credible at all. He has told too many lies. He said he wouldn’t chase anyone he thinks has a gun but yet thinks that it’s possible Ahmaud has a gun on the day that he killed him. He says on 2-11 that Ahmaud reached into his pocket and then ran away. Who reaches for a gun and then runs away??? On top of that, in order for Ahmaud to have reached into his pocket, he would have had to lifted up his shirt because he had on a long t-shirt but he never said that Ahmaud lifted up his shirt. He said that he would have told his father to calm down if he hadn’t seen his neighbor pointing to Ahmaud but he made a decision inside the house to get his shotgun and chase Ahmaud before he came out and saw his neighbor pointing to Ahmaud. There are more lies that he told but I think those 3 lies are enough. It’s really infuriating.
