You can't do other things other than fighting except for Sinnoh, Oreburgh has a huge mine. Even beneath the region there's also an underground system dedicated for digging fossils and five different gems. Basically you can be a geologist, miner, mythologist, archaeologist, and paleontologist in Sinnoh.

And Zubat's name sounds very close to Woobat and Swoobat which are native to the Unova region. That's exactly my thoughts from watching Dorkly from day 1. Since I only read pkm manga. Most of the things Dorkly point out are already in the manga. Not every 10 years old can be given a pokedex and go catch a legendary pokemon. These guys are called the pokedex-holder, and they aren't normal kids. If you have a pokedex, it means you are very talented special person. Even if they start off being normal, but it's like destiny they are given pokedex cuz of their potential. So random kids can't just go catch a giratina. Steven and Ruby's dad died from using regi-trios and Rayquaza. Zinnia got stabbed trying to catch Rayquaza, so you can't just toss a masterball, cuz the mon can always swat/break the ball. Even Crystal had a hardtime catching Arceus and she's known for capture expert.
