Bear Chef I know! Not all get eat by bears, of course. I saw them getting snatched up by a grizzly at a waterfall in Alaska, where people can watch from a safe distance above. There were so many salmon the bear was just eating the fat bellies and leaving the rest. But, later in the hike, we saw an open, still area of water where these poor salmon, bright red from beating against rocks and struggling many, many miles to reach their spawning place, were lined up so thickly, just lying there twitching and dying after spawning. It almost looked like if you walked out into this shallow water, you would have to walk on them to cross over, there were so many. I found it kind of sad and touching.

I Love Ze Frank! If he didn’t have the occasional dirty talk I’d send it to my mom and my children. Watch his cuttlefish documentary- it’s my favorite- but all his narrations are! Happy Earth Day!
