They put a great deal of effort into making this game different than other games, and the characters are very interesting... but again, goes back to the ending. I still play it though, it's as said very enjoyable, hell I even love the card game... wish there was a Rage browser card game like that. lol

The impact this game has on you when you first start is pretty epic and an acconolishment on its own. The devs owned up to their words and produced a solid game.

I thought this game was really fun, but it could have been awesome if they changed a few things. To start the game was too short. The ending was way too abrupt, it definitely should have had a boss or something, I actually saved the BFG cause I thought I was going to need it, then nothing ever happened. I wish they added a fps multiplayer too. And the open world should be open and more expansive so after you beat the game you can still explore.

I liked Rage up until the end, the last level was easy (rushed maybe) with the BFG and I kept waiting for a final boss that never came. I feel like the devs ran out of time and the publisher told them to ship it ASAP. Basically should have been longer. The game engine and fps was awesome though.

This games animation absolutely floored me when I 1st played it (I have never owned a high-end PC, just consoles). The gameplay was amazing as well. The wingsticks, creating spider bots, mind control, etc...just awesome. Every battle was high intensity. The vehicle portions and the multiplayer were terrible though. I really hope ID fares better on their next game. I'm always rooting for them.

+Dildo Boggins Have you even played this game? It looks horrible compared to modern titles. The textures are low res and most objects have little detail. Back in 2011 it was impressive, but since than games have gone much futher. And Fallout 4 looks also much better. I'm playing it right now and can't unterstand why people say this game is underrated. Most of the time it's really boring and repetitive. There is also basically no story.

***** No, it's quite a decent game. It may not have been worth $60, but at the moment, it's $9.99 on Steam. For that price, it's well worth it. The gunplay is solid, the graphics are nice, and the enemy AI is great, especially because of the way they can maneuver. They can attack you in unexpected ways, and the animations are a lot smoother than in Borderlands.

Weak story? Who cares for a game like that, gameplay, weapon diversity/buildup and great graphics come first before story in a shooter. You want a story buy a RPG, you want a no brainer fancy shooting gallery with a Borderland feel to it, this is for you and for me :)

I didn't mean like that. I mean a very good storyline like Fallout 3, you come out of a vault? For what? What's your background story? What's everyone else's background story? RAGE lacks that in EVERY which way, and it's displeasing since Bethesda did help create the game with ID. But if you had the superb graphics of RAGE, and story like Fallout 3, OR get in to depth why were you in the vault, give us more details of how Mutants came along (I know they explained it, but could've gave some depth into it. But yet since it was simply stated, I won't complain about that really), the different clans, the towns, and mostly give us details about EVERYONE'S backstory, including your own person. Fallout 3 really explains about you, your dad, people in the vault, the different towns and the people in them, the brotherhood of steel, the enclave, the different creatures, etc. Not saying I don't like Fallout 3's graphics but if they had every single thing in depth in detail like RAGE, it would make Fallout 3 even more perfect than what already is. Since everything is a bit dull, but i'm not complaining since the gameplay is great. That is why, I don't understand why people diss on RAGE. I know it has a bad story BUT that doesn't take away from how great the game looks. The graphics are superb! So that wasn't what I meant, and 1:55 are the similar idea of the two games but the one goes in depth with the story (Fallout 3) and the other does not (RAGE), but if you mash the story of Fallout 3, or go in depth with RAGE'S story, with the graphics. It would make for a excellent game that will stick with you and what you to keep playing no matter how many times you played it.

***** i have palyed fallout spent lots of hours...when i tried rage i actually never got to finish it cuz it had no free roam low story few weapons(even if they ones tha the game had were cool theenough).fallout is a great game cuz it has a bit of everything going on.yu can say that his combat gameplay isnt action packed but it is descent plus yu get to free roam yu have nice main quest line beautifull sidequests and environments...rage could had been a great game if it had a little fallout in it.and i dont know maybe its just me but if a game doesnt have good main story it doesnt make me relate to its characters missions universe etc..

NO. max payne 3 was a compete piece of shit literally one of the worst and most overrated games i've ever had the displeasure of playing. stupid animations, one-dimensional gameplay, etc max payne 3 is like the opposite of uncharted.. uncharted = excellent game with a shitty main character full of unfunny quips max payne = excellent main character packaged in a COMPLETE HORSE SHIT CRAP-TASTIC DUMBASS BUTT FUCKING GAME

"Lots of content", lmao. You visit every location in the game twice, usually in reverse, and it's usually sectioned off, for some side quest. One DLC is literally, "9 sewer levels", that you have to do, twice. For races, there are like 5 tracks total, from a total of 20-30 events. For "courier missions", there are ... 3. For sniper missions, there are ... 3. I believe the only content that isn't recycled is the Scorcher's DLC.

Btw, I was actually wrong in that none of the pc games even come cllose. I forgot about Legend of Grimrock. Thats an oldschool RPG as you can choose hardcore mode and use pen&paper to map the dungeon.

Cortland Garner That's why I hate games like Bioshock with a passion....If I want a story shoved in my face....I would play an RPG...I play FPS for different reasons. Shadow Warrior in recent time was a welcome addition.
