Guys, calm down. IKEA does this in pretty much every country I think. They change the menu to fit the people in each country, and then "spice it up" by adding some traditional Swedish foods(that don't taste as good as the home made versions). It's not unique to IKEA in the USA, but it's pretty sad that they offer things like pizza and mac'n'cheese since you can get it everywhere else in the US anyway.

I know, but as a Swedish person it feels so weird to hear people talk about going to Sweden or buying Swedish food, just to end up buying some mac n’ cheese, pizza or a curry or something like that. There is such a thing as Swedish food and it ain’t this (apart from our lovely meatballs of course).

As a swede I have to point some things out: Only non-swedes finds the assembly of Ikea furniture tricky. We find it easy and relaxing. (Well I'm sure someone will find it hard but everyone I've talked to about this so far has agreed with me) Cinnamon buns do NOT look like that here in Sweden. That cinnamon bun is VERY American. Important to remember is that this is the American wing of Ikea. In other words, catered to your palettes. The only dish I saw that I've had in Sweden as well was the meatballs. So yeah like the video title says, this is (American) Ikea food. Not Swedish food. I am not angry or anything stating the above, it's just me constantly seeing videos about this and the misinformation is getting a lil out of hand! Felt I had to clarify that this isn't a hate comment because people love attacking people leaving feedback!

Those are definitely not the same foods we have here in Sweden. Our cinnamon rolls have pearl sugar instead of icing and the only food that we have other than that is the Meatball meal and maybe a similar marzipan dessert lol and the cider I'm sure is similar 😂
