Love this game. Got it on ebay about 15 years ago and along with Star control 2 and road rash makes my top 3 for 3DO. Great review

Great review. This is one unusual game. It reminds me a little bit of "Omikron" aesthetically speaking. The mid-1990s really were a special time!

Thank you so much for this. I never paid much attention to this 3DO game because, erm, i just couldn't survive long enough to pay much attention to this 3DO game. Great review as always. Don't for get to do Shockwave 2 when you get the chance please. Also, going through my collection i found the expansion disc for SW1? Didn't even know i owned it.....

Did anybody else have a bit of difficulty getting out of the first 10 to 15 seconds of gameplay? I remember playing it, literally getting frustrated and turning it off! I would love to play it significantly as it is brilliantly unique.

It was extremely obtuse at first, but once you "get it" the whole thing just clicks. However, it's not an instinctual gameplay loop.

The movement is so wacky. Instead of directional inputs to go forward you hold a button like its a gas petal for your legs lol.
