What's funny it took me a year to finally understand the power pocket and I was stuck around 300 feet or a little more. After I started watching your videos it really made sense because I used to play baseball. I'm very eager now to practice as much as I can until I can perfect my form as similar as yours. I'm too competitive not to try every thing I can to get better. Thank you for these in depth videos with multiple ways of teaching the concept.

The slingshot approach doesn't really suit me, but you're looking a lot more athletic than before! It's always good to see someone practicing what they preach. Keep up the good work.

@@slingshotdiscgolf1897was wondering if you could do a form review on schusterick? I’ve known him for years but anybody who has never seen him and sees him for first time on new skins ep will prob wonder how on earth he throws so far with his form being quite unorthodox

Seriously though Coach T has put in the work to explain this method and how a real pro slings a disc. Other KZbin coaches can’t touch his instruction!

I assume you still teach the "Squishing the Bug" technique? I wonder why you do that, you are a expert salesman, so you could sell a real technique teaching in the same way and get respect also at the same time. I mean, you probably know the difference between the "Bracing the front leg" technique and the "Squishing the Bug (Or as you like to say, Back leg disc golf)" technique, right? I mean, you have 10,000 hours of background in baseball coaching, playing, etc., you said that in the comments of one of the videos. You can literally be a big name in disc golf in bigger arenas as you are a great salesman, but now you're working against that possibility.

For others that may be reading this uneducated comment. 1) Slingshot played basketball. Not baseball. 2) "Squishing the bug" is a beginner baseball hitting technique still taught to young players to get used to the feeling of rotating the back leg inwards. 3) Progression from "squishing the bug" is building actual leg drive after building the feeling. Taught by placing a bucket or can behind the rear heel and when you now drive off the rear leg, your heel shouldn't touch the can. The confusion comes from other ignorant disc golf coaches who seem to feel threatened they can't throw as far or get into the same pro positions as this guy... 🙄
