Thank you for this great workout! Actually more cardio for me but that is what I need! I’m a 62 year old physical therapist that retired at the start of Covid and did too much sitting. I discovered you several months ago and have found one or two workouts to do almost every day. I love your choice of music, limited talking, clear instructions and positive attitude. Great addition to your workout schedule! Consistently the best workout music on KZbin. It always lifts my mood no matter what troubles the day brings. I am almost 69 and my tendency is to speed up and crush my workouts to combat the aging process. I needed this reminder that varying the pace and slowing down benefits body and mind. Thank you!

I absolutely love the music. I am hearing a whole bunch of "new" artists that I would never normally hear - especially first thing in the morning. This is a terrific new workout! At almost 66 with bad knees, I find I can do your workouts and not be in pain afterwards. Plus, the reduced pace is great for doing later in the day (I always try to get a quick workout in after dinner). For that, I am truly grateful to you!

You definitely don't have to go hard all the time. It's good to go at a slower pace at times, too, especially after a Hiit, Tabata or hard strength workout. This is a great recovery workout.

Thank you for starting Monday off with a new workout. ❤ It was great. I have a higher resting heart rate so keeping it to your suggested amount for 70 just wasn’t possible but I did keep it down for me. It was energizing for my busy day ahead.

Jules, what nice surprise! I always love it when you have a new word in your workout title because I know I'm about to do something new. The exercises themselves seemed pretty simple but the biggest surprise was how my heartbeat went up. Thanks for the great workout!

I am not a senior, nor exactly a beginner, but I love these workouts. Two years ago I did a lot of exercise and calorie counting, lost about 40 pounds, and was feeling pretty good. But then a small hernia I'd had since having my fourth child started getting more troublesome, and I didn't know what I could safely do. Eventually, I had surgery for the hernia, but it took a long time to recover. It also felt like I was sick for about half of 2022, including Covid and a miscarriage. By the beginning of 2023 I had gained 50 pounds, but was feeling just enough better to start trying to claw back some lost ground. At first, I could only do about 10-15 minutes at a time, and even then I was running into shortness of breath--something I'd never really experienced before. My doctor put me on multiple allergy medicines, and gradually that is improving. I now try to do 20-30 minutes a day (and I think I'm ready to start increasing beyond that, when I have time). Finding this channel has been super helpful. I've used Leslie Sansone's videos in the past, but I say this channel is like Leslie Sansone for introverts! I haven't lost any of that pesky weight, but my energy and stamina are improving, and at least my weight has now been stable for several months.

Hi Sarah, thanks so much for your comment. I'm so glad to know that you're enjoying these workouts (and I had to smile when I read the comment about my channel being more for introverts). You definitely had a tough 2022, but here you are, working hard to get back to fitness and moving forward. It's definitely tough to do when you have 4 kids at home, too! Kudos to you for prioritizing your health so you can be there for your kids. As for the weight, that will come off with continued consistency with exercise and healthy eating. I love that you recognize that your energy and stamina is improving. My guess is that you likely look healthier now as well since you're exercising again (others can likely see it, even though you might not). I hope you continue to enjoy the variety of workouts I create. A new strength series will be out next week if you're up for it:)

This definitely got my heart rate up. The video has a really nice steady pace and never feels overwhelming. I followed it with a strength training video. I really appreciate these thoughtful videos.

It’s been a while since we did this one. What a great workout that’s not so hard on the joints. I had to do squats instead of lunges. I was gifted an earlier version of an Apple Watch by a friend who was upgrading, so this was really the first time I tracked and compensated to stay in my ideal heart rate range while exercising. Squats are getting much easier than they used to be when we first started exercising with you. That makes me feel so good!!

With what you have told me about your knees, I think this is definitely a great choice of a workout. There is no need to do the harder workouts if they bother your knees.

I needed this today. I had a rough day at work then a chiropractor appointment. It gave me cardio at a reasonable speed. I have been doing your videos for three weeks and I am seeing results. With having bad knees and an arthritic spine your workouts are perfect. Thank you.

Hi there, I just completed this workout.....loved it! I've been looking to change up my exercise routine; and I'm so glad I came across your site. You have such a variety of videos I can see that I won't be getting bored with my workout routines for quite some time! I enjoy incorporating dumbbell strength routines at least three times a week, followed up by a combo of cardio, balance, core, and stretching for the other four days (all with a focus on moderation); and I am finding everything on your site that I need to round out my workouts. I'll be looking for a dumbbell workout for tomorrow...and I know I'm going to find the perfect workout for me! Thanks so much for providing exercise videos for the "older crowd"!

I always thought when I kept my heart rate at that rate I wasn't doing enough and I struggle to keep it lower than I usually do because of my mindset about not doing enough. So decided to let go of my " not doing enough" and do this exercise more often :)

It's good to mix things up. Sometimes go slower like in this one, other times pick it up a bit, and other times intervals are great. Variety is definitely a good thing when it comes to exercising. All movement adds up:)

I underwent a lumbar fusion in March-with my surgeons ok I started getting back to shape by doing your seated chair exercise workouts-I have now progressed to all standing workouts even at the intermediate level-I feel great both physically and mentally after I complete your exercises-a big thank you for making me feel whole again!

I feel like I just had a really nice full body workout. I was typically above the fat burn range for my age. It was really good for cardio and the 15 second breaks kept me out of peak range! Thank you! I will be working out to this again, and again!

Hello! I haven't exercised for almost a year and I'm trying to convince myself to get back on track, even for 20 minutes a day. This is my first workout. I stopped at 20:00, which is usually my limit and after a while, completed the whole thing, trying not to look at the watch. Thank you for making it easier for those who crawl to the screen. 🙂

Congratulations for being here!!! Your goal of 20 minutes is great and I love how you ended up coming back and finished the workout. One day at a time....slow and steady, and over time it will become more of a habit. Hopefully the way you feel after exercising will keep you coming back. On days when you struggle, you can always go to the gentle workouts, which are also super beneficial. Thanks Juliie, tried for the first time this morning and definitely a favourite. I'm 63 and have 2 knee replacements, 3 -4 stone overweight, no amount of dieting works, so i've been working out to your videos for about 3 weeks, eating healthy and have lost a few lbs and i feel fabulous. xx. Love your videos, easy to follow and easy to slow or speed up, depending on ability. I'm an exercise convert, thank you xx

I saw u put this on the other week and thought ouch low impact I won't try that wow I loved it. It's part March schedule. It's amazing...you worked every single body part and I was loving it. I thought low impact would be too slow lol little did I know. Every day a learning day. You put so much into making these and think of absolutely everything. This is another go to. I have been doing your workouts for a while but only discovered your speaking ones recently. I am not sure if you have expanded your programme or I just missed them but nevertheless, I love the variety you offer and the appropriate level of challenge to me. I am 66 and regard myself as relatively fit as I work out every morning ( much to my husband's annoyance as he would rather I stayed in bed with him) . I tend to do some form of cardio training and my beloved yoga and round it up with a bit of qigong. All on KZbin. As I also attend Pilates and yoga classes in the daytime, i feel comfortable doing the exercises at home making sure i keep good form. Your channel is a perfect start.

This was such a good workout. Need to sync my Fitbit to see where my heart rate was. Been awol for a week as I was at my mums lot. She requires a lot of care now. Good to be back at it. Thanks Jules once again.
