Special moments with Daughter Roisin.......Apologies for the dodgy soundtrack and any shaky footage.....I was stood on tip toes,at full stretch, leaning against a wooden stanchion, at the rear of the tent, on full-zoom. Unfortunately the camera picked up a lot of chatter from passing crowds outside the tent.

This is haunting. I hope Sinead's children understand who their mother of was to us. Love her or loathe her, it seems she sadly suffered a childhood trauma that she could not escape from, and that may have also impacted on her children. Sinead O Connor, was synonymous with Ireland and its culture. She was the music of our collective soul as a country. A voice I grew up with and adored. Only last week I tried to learn the song she sang at the very end of the Veronica Guerin movie, in the hopes I could sing it at a funeral myself....But alas, it is too big for us mere mortal singers. I will listen to her music until the day I die. There was no peace for her on this earth. I hope she has it now. And I hope her children, siblings and loved ones take pride and comfort in the knowledge of what she meant to the people of Ireland and beyond. Rest easy now girl. You did your best. You take a piece of my heart with you. 💔
