May was a gentle, young lady with a sense of humor. Your time in her area was very enlightening. To be totally self-sufficient and at peace with your life must be so satisfying. The health bath was spot on in today's world. Those folks were light years ahead of the west in herbal relaxation. Its amazing how you were able to film our people in their natural habitat. We dont have our own country nor a written dialect, but you guys were able to find these ppl and film them To see this lady speak english is pretty crzy too. Her name May means the oldest daughter. May is probably well educated which is why she hasn’t gotten married yet and why she can speak English really well. She has a smart phone and seems to keep up with the other pop culture (ie. The “kimchi” pose at the end which is from the Korean pop culture). Hopefully she will find someone who can appreciate her intelligence and education. She might honestly have to look outside the village for someone since she is an “old lady” now at the age of 19 lol. Sonny, your videos are so great and your well rounded personality makes it a comfortable and fun atmosphere for everyone around you no matter where you travel to and what culture you’ve stepped into.

She has to be her English is well above the normal level. Especially for living the mountains. Most girls I meet in Hanoi English isn't at that level.

It is not neccessary to have a high education to speak fluently English or other languages. If you live with merchants long enough, you will see it isn't hard to learn speaking foreign languages.

@@danhdao7417 you just have to the money. Learning English on the average salary is almost not possible. When you look at English teachers making 18-25 usd an hr here and the average salary being 250 dollars a month.

I mean if you want to have a decent teacher to teach you all those decent stuff in decent way, then yes money is the point. But in this case, Yao for example, they copy what exactly they heard and mimic it. You can visit district 1 in Saigon or other marketplaces in Thailand, especially places near night streets. No one pay a penny to learn how to speak foreign languages XD.
