Really enjoying. I’m 71 and box , no sparring, but lots of bag and mitt work. During this crazy SIP I thought I’d try something else and bought a pair of 1lb and 2lb. to use before I put on the gloves. Best part of the videos is the slow motion to be able to mimic the routines. Thanks for the instruction.

I am starting with a pair of 1 lb. Agutsu Clubs, a pair of 2 lb. Agutsu Clubs and a set of Heroic Sport Handles which I can probably take up to 10 lbs. by adding sand to a 2 L. carbonated beverage bottle. Currently working exclusively with 1 Lb. Clubs.

Thank you! Great video breakdown, love the slow down, my husband and I just started swinging the mace bell and we are thinking of also starting the clubs, we both train, husband does Krav Maga and is an installer, and I in bjj/ grappling and a massage therapist lol so this will help much with our ROM and pain, I’ve only been swinging on the 5 pound gently and carefully for the last couple of weeks and I’ve already noticed in the last few days and I haven’t had any numbness or tingling in my arms or hands when I wake up! suman das Yes! It is a great exercise for your core. The key is to keep the stomach up and in and shoulders back with chin slightly down and feet directly under your shoulders. When you focus also on those things for good posture, you will feel your core muscles engage and you will get a great benefit. Thanks for that question!

I just bought mine and got a 5 lbs, but they say to start with 2lbs, you will be surprised how much more the weight feels than it actually is because the weight is at the end of the clubs, it's not about the weight it's about getting your shoulders to create more mobility, so if your mobility is limited get the 2lb you can always increase it

Cathy Boyce they feel more authentic, but have to be bigger as they get heavier. They are smooth and feel good, but I really don’t have a preference in general.
