Tv would never allow him to be the David we have all grown to love to watch, I’d rather donate license money to all the KZbinrs I watch. At the end of the day we all love how he keeps it simple and doesn’t use all the fancy stuff that tv chefs use. Spreading the word and getting kids to watch the channel is a good start .

Another great recipe, I love a steak and ale pie. My hubby often likes a homemade goulash would be great if you filmed making the goulash. This is what has been lost over the years cooking wholesome home cooked meals. I almost always cook from scratch. Although I haven't attempted a homemade chicken kiev yet! My nan had pyrex plates that she cooked her pies on. She had a red one for savoury pies and a teal coloured one for sweet pies. School cookery lessons are not as good quality in terms of actual skills/meals taught as when I went to school.

is it similar to "drunken stew" without potatoes? that's really good. When the plan is to freeze some of the pies, the chimney (steam release hole) becomes the initial of the filling. ie, S A. or C. or. T. steak n ale, chick or tourtieres. 😁

Here is a tip if you want to reduce the liquid in a recipe. Leave the lid off the pan and have an electric fan blowing across it. The steam will blow away rapidly and you can turn the heat up and it will not boil. This method will remove the excess water surprisingly quickly.
