as somebody that born and raise in west sumatra, i am so happy to see that all the vendors didnt charge you with the tourist price, everything is local price, even the durian is cheap, you need to pay 4 times for the same sized durian in jakarta, btw bika talago is the best of all, me and my family used to stop there and enjoy the bika when we were visiting my grand parents, the only use cinnamons wood for the cooking, the smell of the wood burning is amazing

Part Sumbar dan Yogyakarta seperti menemukan jodohnya. Kedua daerah ini sebenarnya memiliki banyak kecocokan. Coba lihat Yogyakarta terkenal sebagai Kota Pendidikan, sebenarnya Sumbar sudah sejak lama juga sebagai pusat pendidikan sprt UGM Dll. Diluar Jawa, Sumbar masih menjadi tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia sprt UNAND dkk. Wisata di Sumbar juga sangat ramai sama seperti Yogyakarta. Keramahtamahan Org Jogja juga begitu dengan org Sumbar. Soal kuliner, Yogya punya Gudeg sebagai ciri khas dan Bapia sebagai kue tradisional. Sementara Sumbar punya Nasi Padang cs (Rendang, dll), ada Bika yg juga jadi kue tradisional. Untuk kunjungan Turis asing, kedua daerah ini juga cukup ramai dikunjungi wisatawan mancanegara. Cuma kalau di Sumbar mungkin spot wisata lebih banyak jadi wisman ada dimana-mana. Untuk kebersihan lingkungan kedua daerah ini juga berhasil membuat lingkungan bersih dan asri. Untuk penguasaan lahan, di Jogja banyak kendala unt membeli tanah dan bangunan dikarenakan harganya mahal dan gak sebanding dg UMR nya 🤭. Kalau di Sumbar, unt beli tanah agak belibet prosesnya 🤭
