I wanted to bring my battlerope to the gym but it’s heavy and dirty so I thought my gym would frown upon the idea. Then I saw Lebron working out with these but I had no idea what they were or how to look for them. I stumbled across an inertia wave commercial and I thought to myself, “there it is”. However I didn’t just want to take their word for it so I started looking for reviews. Since I’ve seen your reviews in the past I knew I would be getting an honest and intelligent breakdown of the product. Thank you so much for helping me make my decision on purchasing this product. I’m also a subscriber to your channel. Blessings.

Great review! I am a dad with a dad bod. Trying to lose the gut. Would the inertia wave help in that dept. Vs like traditional sit-ups?
@ShreddedDad3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, for sure. You’ll burn a ton of calories with the inertia wave.

Awesome - thank you. How have these been holding up for you now that you've had them for awhile? Still going strong? I've seen a few reviews saying that they breakdown too quickly...any feedback you can share? Also how often are you using them? Thx!
@ShreddedDad3 жыл бұрын
They’re still holding up pretty good. I use them on grass or my garage so the wear and tear when they hit the floor is minimal. I wouldn’t use them on rough concrete

How do you think this compares to something like the Stroops - Son of the Beast?

Great review! Question on usage for cardio - do you think it could be used as a main form of cardio or HIIT? Have very limited space so that rules out great machines like the c2 rower for me unfortunately.
@ShreddedDad4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it could be used as both, just depends on how intense you go at it. It definitely gets you winded. The good thing about the inertia is you can attach it to almost anything so even if you have very little space in the garage, you can take it outside and attach it to something like a fence.

On the weight sled add MINI-BANDS center of poles...sled poles are unstable...so we need to BRING THEM TOGETHER, by adding a PULL by the mini bands...then attach the rail straps to VERY TOP...

To be honest Nike has a long resistance band that is coated with some scrunch cloth coating and it can do the same exact thing I use them all the time and they run $20 a piece they come in Heavy, Med, Light and they can create the exact same wave Affect so i can buy 3-4 of Nikes and get the same affect for the price of this.
@ShreddedDad3 жыл бұрын
Those don’t function the same way as the Inertia Wave. I thought the same thing and that’s why I tested a resistance tube right next to the inertia wave in the video.

I can't find Inertia Wave in my country yet(Indonesia). In terms of Caloric burn, any ideas of difference between Inertia wave vs Heavy Jump rope? Thks
@ShreddedDad3 жыл бұрын
No idea what the caloric difference would be between the two

How does this compare to the Sorinex black system. They claim a 15% more resistance and 22% higher tensile strength. 124.99

I haven't used a real inertia wave, but I bought a 20ft length of speargun rubber and I use it like an inertia wave. It was like 50$ which compared to full price inertia wave I'd say it's worth it probably. The inertia wave is on sale right now for 75$ though so if I were to do it again right this second then I'd just buy the real thing.

How high do these go when going up and down, I have 9ft ceilings inside, am I gonna beat up my ceiling with this?
@ShreddedDad4 жыл бұрын
You have plenty of room. They don't go that high. My ceiling is 9'5" and they reach maybe half of that.

Inertia wave looks like the same concept as bodyblade
@ShreddedDad Жыл бұрын
Some motions may be similar but the Inertia Wave pulls you towards its anchor point while you do the movements so your body is fighting that pull plus the movements with the tubes
@stevenzak1994 жыл бұрын
Inertia Wave recommends a spacing of 24 to 36 inches apart (kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4jMg3ZtaLCnoc0 @2:15), so I'm glad to see that it actually works just fine with a narrower spacing. Depending on what you happen to have as anchor points (a horizontal bar or a chain link fence obviously gives you great flexibility; a strap around a palm tree not so much), you may find a narrower spacing is more available. I once ordered one of these through Amazon but someone stole it from my mailbox, and though Amazon refunded my money, I never ordered another one. Thanks for reminding me of this device. It looks like it might be a great cardio tool. (I have other things I can use for HIIT training, like my TRX RIP Trainer, so I wasn't desperate for this, but it might be a cool thing to have.)
@ShreddedDad4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it can be anchored at different distances. I've had no problem using it on the dumbbells
