We live in a dry climate, so just decided to change it, but with more humid areas you’ll probably smell some mildew or just want to change it every year or so

@Maarvvs, you may not need an answer anymore.. but a good tell tale sign is when sitting back in car seat, with fan on full blast, if you don't feel the air strongly, it's a good indication that your filter may be clogged. Also, warmer A/C that normaly, or Cooler Heat than normaly, accompanied by a lesser air strength, could indicate a clogged air filter. -- Owner of a Mobile Repair Company

Sosa Francis It could be if the filter had fallen apart. Pull it out to see. It could also be the actual blower motor
